The hotel was nice but the air conditioning in the common areas/restaurant was not working so it was pretty hot while trying to eat at the restaurant/bar. The staff at the bar was very nice and helpful.

The beds were comfortable, the staff was very kind and helpful, the main area with the plants and water fountains was very original and cool. The free breakfast offered a huge amount of food. My son and I traveled together and absolutely enjoyed our stay.

This is an outstanding property. The on site restaurant and bar are obviously convenient as well as well staffed and the food was excellent! The Academy is convenient to all things Colorado Springs. We would definitely stay here again!!

Amazing! The lobby itself was such a beautiful place to be and the pool as well as ping pong and foosball tables make this place a definite hit with the kids, not to mention the delicious breakfast. Can’t say enough about this place; will never stay anywhere else in Colorado Springs

Very good breakfast. Staff was courteous and friendly. Several restaurants in the neighborhood. The only problem during our stay was some kind of alarm kept going off, usually at night.

The property was "tired" and needed updating. The parking lot had a couple of large potholes that were covered with pools of water when it rained. The fire alarm went off a couple of times each day, often in the middle of the night. The staff were amazing in helping navigate the difficulties. The buffet breakfast was outstanding in quality and variety. The hotel was conveniently located near a main highway.

okay stay but could have been easily better

1/2 my family had to be moved to a different hotel without adequate notice to get another hotel (alot of them were sold out that weekend) because of your "flood". We had all planned to stay together for a wedding (I guess that did not work out). The omelette for breakfast had to be made with whatever the man making them wanted to put in (jalipenoes and onions?) we should be able to order what kind of omelette that we want (otherwise why have him make them to order)? The man at the front desk the day I checked out was not helpful at all (in fact he just wanted an omelette he said and did not care about helping me).

I’d give it 3.5 stars if I could. This property has seen better days, it is tired and experienced a ‘major maintenance emergency’ around the time of my stay. That said, the room was clean and the staff that I encountered were friendly.

I arrived at 1:30 pm but room wasn’t ready. The receptionist told me to come back around 3 pm. I came back around 5 pm and I was assigned to a terrible room on the 1st floor. Around 7 pm, I demanded a room change only to found out that my assigned room was on the 3rd floor. If I didn’t ask, I would have been stuck with the terrible room on the 1st floor.
