This house was very cute, clean, and had everything we needed! The fenced backyard was great for our dog. It was located closely to Old Colorado City which had a bunch of shops and restaurants and was just down the street from Garden of the Gods. The only downside was that we were there on the hottest day of the year and there were AC units in the bedrooms but not the main living area and it got very hot.
The place was clean inside. Check in was a pain and couldn't get the lock to work. I called the number attached to the email and the person who answered seemed surprised their number was given. They had to have someone else call to help me. The landscaping was non-existant, just dirt, some trash, and the fence was broken so we couldn't leave the dog unattended in the yard. The hot tub was DIRTY, so much I didn't get in. There were not extra blankets for the pull out couch or extra towels for the hot tub. It was ok for what we needed, which was a short sight-seeing stay.
The listing description was spot on. It was perfect for my family of 4 and we especially enjoyed the late evening hot tub soaks with views of the mountains in the distance.
This has been one of the best vacation my husband and I have been on. The location is close to most of Colorado Springs (and close to a Walmart for groceries.) The hot tub was the main event, my husband and I came up there to relax and enjoy our weekend and we did just that. I cannot recommend this place enough :)
This was a clean and nice comfy property. Modern and with a lot of options to cook and a nice tv that you could connect your devices to. Not to mention the hot tub was nice!
This place had everything we needed for a weekend getaway!!! It is a 2 bedroom with pull out couch for small families and friends. Completely updated kitchen with washer and dryer. The view is just beautiful from the porch and so close to downtown. It is also quiet and private! My only recommendation is think about getting some type of internet router or extender:)
My wife and her cousin stayed for 2 nights to visit Colorado Springs while i was on at a conference in Denver. They stated that Watermelon was everything they needed and more. Loved the location to everything andbloved the hot tub. We plan on making another trip back in the future. 5ââ
The unit is in a quiet neighborhood, but conveniently located just a couple of blocks off of US-24 (near most popular attractions). We had our 7-year old golden retriever with us, and the back yard is fenced in, but has no grass. However, there is also a fully grassy city park less than 1 block away. Be advised that A/C in most vacation properties in the mountains often does NOT imply central air, but often means window units. In this case, BOTH bedrooms have an A/C, and with the bedroom doors open, and both running, they can easily cool the entire property. The property manager is very responsive to questions and concerns.
Very clean and great location to all the attractions and shopping. Check in and out was very easy. Communication was amazing. We will definitely stay here again in the future!
We had a nice stay at this location. The beds were firm and wonderful. The kitchen is nicely stocked and the hot tub was amazing. We did have a few issues with our stay. 1st: we were told to use the "Yellow" towels for the hot tub, they were not in the unit. Host told us to "look around" to find them. Almost 2 hours of back and forth to relizes they were not in the unit. This really ruined our first night. the 2nd issue we had is the couch is not comfortable to sit on, and they were no other options for relaxing. 3rd issue is the wifi was not working, so mulitple more texts to get the correct network and password. 4th issue was the "A/C", not central air, but stand alone unit that are very loud, and only in the bedrooms, not common area. We had to turn them off to sleep, and then it was unbearably hot . It would have been better if the unit was ready for guests, but a bunch of issues tarnished our stay. We would not stay again
