You can tell the building is definitely older, but there have been updates. The room was actually very nice and clean. Our room was clean and we enjoyed our stay. Would stay here again if needed.

Clean room, friendly staff, accommodated pet and convenient location. No major complaints although housekeeping starts knocking on doors and you hear the entire procession down the hallway. If you had a late night it would be obnoxious.

The tv and toy remote were unusable.The windows were coated white from water leakage and unable to look through them.Breakfast food was poor quality.Ceiling in room was recently painted but had cracks appearing in it. Fourth floor smoke detectors were hanging by exposed wires from the wall.The boarded up SHONEYS restaurant in front of the place,gave a distressed look to the area.Mirror on wall above lav sink was way to tall for my wife to use. A Motel Six has a better feel than this place!!

Good Stay, Will be Better When the Remodel is Done

Overall we had a good stay. They are in the middle of a remodel. Our room was a remodeled ones, however the TV wasn’t programmed with the remote and it said there was no service to it. The parts of the hotel that aren’t finished or are in the process of being remodeled show age and wear.

We were on the fourth floor, directly across from the elevator and the ice machine, convenient. The room was clean and comfortable. I liked the extra hooks in the bathroom and the bowed shower curtain. Missed a shelf in tub/shower and NO grab bar upon exiting shower. Staff was polite and responsive. Breakfast adequate. Hot water for tea was not hot however. Had to re-warm in microwave. Is there a gym? Not sure. My card would not open that door, no sign for it though there is a small but inviting pool outside. Too cold to use it this trip, 9-11 October.
