It was mediocre the check in at the front desk was slow the clerk was on the phone the whole time,it looked like someone was living in the front office with a bed and left over pizza box there
The room was gross poo on the wall under light switch in the bathroom, main door to our room wasn't staying shut unless u slammed it. I don't recommend them
The lady at the front desk was rude she didnât want to talk, she just laid a paper down to sign but didnât say to sign it, the room was dirty like they didnât sweep , and one of the beds was not made up and after all that when u get home I see I was charged again for the room.
It was one of the worst hotels I've ever been to. I was on a call when I pulled up and the manager came out to ask my if I was getting a room or what. I was basically rushed off the phone and rushed to go inside. The check in process was slow and the desk clerk or manager, whatever his position is, was just rude and had no personality. After I checked in I went to park. I had to climb a wall to get to my room. There were a few handicapped parking spots. These spots had ramps that lead straight into a wall. I'm not sure how those spots would be accessible to anyone, especially someone who is handicapped. When we got in our room, we were greeted by roaches and flies. We barely slept and had to sleep in our clothes because we felt uncomfortable. We didn't even use the shower or toilet for fear of what may be in those or on those areas. One of the worst places I've ever stayed. Over $200 for 1 night and the room and experience weren't worth $2.
The surroundings were good. The cleanliness of the room was fine except a few cockroaches were running around. I kind of expect that being that weâre in South Carolina. I tried to contact the front desk but no one was available.
Came down there for my husband for Jackson basic training graduation.
Customer service was great. The front desk man was really nice and understanding, but the environment wasnât family friendly. I had to move rooms because a man kept coming out his room every time I came outside and harassing me while I had my three year old with me front desk moved me to the front so he could watch out for me, which was nice but if I ever come back to Columbia, South Carolina, I will not be staying there.
Reserved a king room and was told they didn't have any available. I like the first floor because I sometimes have to use a cane to walk. My daughter stayed with me the first night and was present at check-in. The only thing I didn't like this time around was having to take a double instead of the king I asked for.
