The host was very welcoming and quick to respond to questions. The amenities were great - well stocked coffee pods, trash bags, dishwashing detergent, paper towels, etc
We came down for a military graduation with family. The house was super convenient and while it was on the main road, it was quiet inside. The house had lots of character and charm and plenty of space. It was clean and well stocked. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again if in the area!
The home had everything we needed. We visited for a turning green ceremony and loved the convenience of the home. It was close to the base I was conveniently located near a shopping center, which made it very easy for us. The kitchen is fully equipped and had everything we needed to be able to pay family meals throughout our stay. The amenities of the home are also wonderful.
The house was perfect for our family. We enjoyed the pool, loved the covered back patio, plenty of room inside for our family to enjoy dinners together and plenty of room for all of us in the living room to watch the draft. The beds were very comfortable. together. Everyone said the bedscomfortable
The back door lock was too small for the hole. There were no shades in the bathroom so we had to hang a towel to hide from the next door neighbor. There were holes in the wall in the downstairs bathroom leading to a massive crawl space and we found windows were unlocked. Door knobs were missing and falling off and also sitting on the counter. The game room in the basement was also a joke and just not a space I would ever choose to hang out in with my family while on vacation, or while in my home for that matter.
Once you get past the musty smell, you realize that the property is a well maintained older home. It definitely had its own unique charm. The rental company was quick to reply and assist us with what we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked with plenty of pots, pans, and utensils. We were happy we did not have to purchase paper towels, bathroom tissue, dish soap, or washing detergent. There were also enough bath towels for all our household. We would recommend this home, and would stay here again!
Our family really enjoyed staying here. Plenty of room for all to spread out and relax or play games, and yet it was very cozy. The pool was beautiful and a nice respite from the August heat. The entire place had a really cool, comfortable aesthetic. We had all the paper goods (paper towels, toilet tissue, trash bags) and coffee supplies (K-cups, creamer, sugar, stirrers, and even to-go cups with lids) we needed. Plus, there were plenty of towels for use inside and at the pool.Check-in tip: Drop one person at the steps on the right as soon as you enter the driveway, then pull your vehicle to the back for parking and unloading. The person dropped off in front can enter the code to unlock the house and then open the back door for everyone else.
Check in process was easy and house is beautifully decorated. Plenty of room for everyone to relax, especially outside. The pool was nice. We did have some issues getting in the back door and had to walk around to the front of the house. The house is on a very busy street and we were not initially aware that we could park around back. I would suggest doing that because the front does not accommodate you the ability to turn around and I would not suggest backing out into the highway. While we did not have any issues at all and everyone was friendly, there are lots of homeless in the area. While the house is on a busy street the house itself was quiet for the most part. The bathroom in the hallway is also accessible from a bedroom and it was quite small to have two entry doors and thereâs not much room for storage of personal items which was disappointing especially considering that bathroom would be shared with a larger bedroom that sleeps four. Overall the house was very clean and accommodating to our needs and our soldier was able to get some much needed rest. We would stay here again.
