We loved our stay in suite 1. It was a holiday weekend, so the designated parking place was great to have. The property is right in the heart of everything. It looked as if the stairs had just been rebuilt and some work had been done to the suite. This was perfect for my husband and I and was a nice slowdown to our everyday lives!
My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights and it was perfect! We enjoyed walking to all the local spots, especially Olde Bartley House for coffee and volant donuts and Big Woods Pizza! The space was cozy, comfortable, and exactly what we needed. We went to the Indy 500 and the drive up back was gorgeous. Loved that we got to come back to slower paced, quiet Nashville after a full day.
Lamp with bulb missing in the "kitchen." Light switches missing. Ceiling fan was noisy. Electric candles did not work. TV lagged and was difficult to negotiate. Stains on the ceiling. Artwork falling out of its frame by the door. Bathroom mirror falling apart at the top edge. Bathroom drawers had loose and mismatched knobs. Steps leading up to the suite were decrepit. Dirt around the floor boards. Very disappointed. My ratings were generous. Would not stay here again.
The dedicated parking space at a central location during a busy weekend was exceptional. All of the local shops and restaurants were within a short walking distance. The two flights of steps and walkway could have been better. A keurig coffee maker, mini fridge and microwave were nice amenities. The bedding was comfortable although the mattress was harder than we were used to.
The location is excellent, and the area was quiet. Although the unit was clean, it was a bit shabby and could use an update. The outside stairs to the second floor unit were a problem. The sidewalk, stairs, and patio were covered with wet leaves and rotten crabapples; this was a tripping hazard.
Very convenient location. I was the only suite occupied when I was here, so it was very quiet. Some minor flaws like missing light switches and rust stains in shower; but overall very clean.
The location of this property was fantastic! It included a private parking spotâŠnice for Brown Co in the fall. Working with the property manager went well. While I enjoyed my stay, there were a few things I didnât like.
When walking in, I had a door to my right (for the other unit) and the bathroom door straight ahead. I was initially worried Iâd have to share facilities since I it could hear the (loud) people next door and it appeared they could walk right in to use the same bathroom. A call to the property manager confirmed it was a private bath. The other challenge, there isnât a full closet to hang coats or clothes. The one available has cleaning supplies, etc in it. Also, the comments others have made about the stairs arenât a joke. While Iâd read them before booking, I wasnât worried as an active able-bodied 50-something. But they are steep, a bit narrow and challenging if youâre lugging a big suitcase or other heavy items up them upon arrival. Lastly, while the unit was surface level clean - bathroom, bed linens etc - it is in need of a deep cleaning. The window A/C unit was gross. There were splatters of what I assume was soda, etc on furniture and walls.
For a quick overnight trip, this place is great. For a longer stay (like mine), you might be more comfortable elsewhere.
What a lovely get-away for my dog and I! The Nashville Suite was a fantastic place to stay - located right in downtown Nashville, I was able to walk everywhere and didnât have to deal with the chaotic parking (the suite has a reserved parking space). The suite is located on the second floor, which was tough for my short-legged dog, but we made it work. It has a small fridge, keurig machine, small sofa and bistro table in the separated âkitchenâ area - no sink or dishwasher. The only sinks are located in the bathroom (double sinks). The King bed was comfortable after spending a fun day exploring in Brown County State Park. Looking forward to my next stay at the Nashville Suites!
Just a few suggestions to make your property even better.
1. The electronic lock doesnât always work. We were locked out several times. If we waited a bit and entered the code again, it would work. Always entering the correct code, not sure what was going on. 2. You only provided 1 small styrofoam cup for the keurig. The cup was too small to even brew a cup of coffee in. 3. No soap for the shower. If youâre not going to provide this, please be more accurate in your description.
Overall, beautiful room, great location.
Received a call stating the rental property that we had originally booked was not going to be ready in time for our arrival as they were putting a new roof on. Asked if we would be willing to switch to The Loft which was a little bigger. Amy was very friendly and even sent me the link to the property to view. My husband and I loved staying at The Loft and plan on staying there again the next time we visit! The location is right downtown on the main street.
