Welcome to Casa Cerca del Sol – a well-equipped villa with private pool and jacuzzi. Set within 10,000 square metres of private rural land, the villa enjoys a quiet and secluded location, yet is just a short drive from the charming whitewashed village of Cómpeta, known for its fine selection of shops, bars, and restaurants.

The south- and west-facing terrace offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains – particularly Mount Maroma, the highest peak in the Axarquía at 2,065 metres – the Sierra Almijara range, and the lush countryside stretching all the way down to the Mediterranean Sea. On a clear day, you may even catch a glimpse of Gibraltar or the Rif Mountains of North Africa on the horizon. And in the evening, grab a glass of wine and enjoy the panoramic sunset views.

Access is via paved and concrete roads, with Málaga Airport approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes away, and several beaches, the Aquavelis Water Park, El Ingenio shopping mall, and the Baviera Golf Course just 25 minutes away. The villa is ideally situated to explore the Mediterranean coast, the Alhambra in Granada, the nearby Sierras with their ski resorts, or simply relax and enjoy authentic Spanish life with horseback riding, hiking, and mountain biking. The Cueva de Nerja, just 35 minutes away, is one of Europe’s largest cave systems, home to spectacular stalactites and often referred to as the “Cathedral of the Paleolithic.” Nerja itself is a vibrant seaside town full of shops, cafés, and bars.

The villa features a spacious living and dining area with WiFi, TV, fireplace, and large windows that open to views of the terrace, the mountains, and the sea. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with integrated appliances including a dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, and air fryer. Of the three bedrooms (approx. 12 sqm / approx. 10 sqm), two are furnished with double beds and large built-in wardrobes. The third bedroom (approx. 13 sqm), designed for children, features a bunk bed.

The large terrace includes an 8 x 4 metre freeform pool with gentle Roman steps – perfect for cooling off on warm summer days – a jacuzzi, a covered outdoor kitchen with BBQ area, and a table tennis table.
