Great job renovating an old train facility into a cool inn! Helen was warm and wonderful, the rooms were pleasant and fun. Steps away from downtown Cooperstown (a fun walk, we passed because of the cold)... will come back and stay again!
It is a comfortable and friendly place. Everything is clean and they offer snacks, drinks and easy breakfast items. The whole inn is decorated in sleek modern lines with whimsy of train decor. I would go back anytime. One small negative was the showers are rainshower style and they do not offer much pressure.
The breakfast food was fine. Plenty of healthy choices. It was all available 24 hours (along with other snacks) so it was veryconvenient.
The location was nice and quiet (at least in December). The staff was friendly and helpful.
The bed was comfortable, though I found the pillows a little hard for my taste. The ceramic tile on the bathroom floor was kind of chilly (won't be a problem in the summer months), but the water was nice and hot.
The property is conveniently located to nearby areas of interest, well maintained. The staff were friendly, attentive and accommodating. They had a cute little setup at the entrance with coffee, beverages and snacks. Parking was convenient. Only complaint is that the insulation doesnât reduce sound, it is easy to hear people walking through halls and upstairs.
My husband and I enjoyed our stay in Cooperstown. Restaurants and the hall of fame were in walking distance from the Inn. The room was clean and everyone was friendly.
