At the time of booking, I spoke to the receptionist and told them that my children were interested in the Summer activities that copper Mountain offered. The receptionist neglected to tell me that they were shut down for the first two weeks of June when we booked. Upon arriving for check-in, no receptionist was at the front desk. After about 10 minutes, the bartender went to find the receptionist. When she arrived, she was very rude.

A very nice stay

Being the off-season, I would have liked some information on what was available or open. The place itself was nice. Our bathroom door was very squeaky and you could hear the tv next door to us. The beds were very comfortable. The view was nice. The water in the lobby was a nice touch.

Clean room with a fridge and pleasant staff on check in. Parking was easy. Situated in a lovely walkable village area but in June, everywhere was closed. There were no shops open, apart from a small grocery store which closed at 5pm. There was nowhere to eat ( despite websites stating bars were open) apart from the hotel, which was overpriced for fast food.

Hotel was very new and located close to ski resort. View was great since hotel was surrounded by snow-covered mountains. Hotel had a nicely equipped gym, outdoor hot tubs and fire place. Hotel even offered oxygen rental. Location was a quick drive away from Silverthorne and a few scenic overlooks. It would be perfect if the hotel did not have a $40+ hold that staff said would take a week to be refunded.
