We visited Copper Mountain for a ski trip. We found this place to be comfortable and convenient. It is in the East Village and walking distance from the Super Bee lift. However, that lift takes you to mostly challenging terrain. We aren’t that type skiers. But bus transport to the Center Village was right outside our building and very convenient. Also limited access to shopping and restaurants in the East Village.
The condo itself was quite good. Definitely clean and comfortable. Amenities were good, but we were disappointed to find no creamer or sugar for coffee in the unit. If you are going to provide a coffee, please provide associated supplies.
Finally, there was a noise problem our first night there. There was a buzzing noise every 20 min or so, and a loud bang every 40 min or so. These noises mostly kept us awake all night. The next morning, I solved the buzzing noise. It was the fridge trying to refill the ice maker. I doubt there is even water connected to the fridge. I turned the ice maker off (switch in freezer), and noise stopped. A little sign on fridge would easily prevent other guests from having same issue.
With regard to the loud banging, we never figured out what was causing it. Noise seemed to be coming from inside or above unit, and was very consistent through our first evening and night in the unit. After we returned from skiing the following day, it was gone. Really frustrating, but maybe not associated with this particular unit.
