A very convenient hotel for Eurotunnel. Good sized room. Inadequate socket points in the room. Only 1 x 2 pin and 1 x 3 pin. No shaver socket in bathroom for night light which was very necessary.

Location - excellebt. Staff - friendly Food - reasonable Bar - expensive Room - reasonably clean but not spotless, no tea / coffee making facilities, onĺy one chair, only rwo small towels.

Good points - room & bathroom were clean. Bed was comfortable and there were 4 "proper" pillows, not the usual 2 thin sluces! There was a decent tv in the roomwith access to a few English channels, Not so good points - I am all for saving the planet, but 2 hand towels for 2 of us is not enough, the toilet paper was obviously re-cycled, good for the earth but not my derriere ! We were surprised there was not a complimentary tea/coffee tray in the room, but the worst factor was the location of the room. We were on the first floor, directly above a smoking area which meant if we opened the window we were treated to a constant stream of stinking tobacco smoke and the rather loud conversations of the smokers. Late at night a delivery was made using noisy metal containers,, but this was nothing compared to the noise made by a generator which, as it turned out, ran all night.
