I should have read a bit closer and realized that this B&B was just a bed and no breakfast. Excellent location.

Not really a B+B. No staff, no breakfast. Above a bar. We got a bed and a shower.

Okay room, lots of stairs

This was a very steep climb up steps with no elevator available. The check in was a code to unlock a padlock on the door, which may have been nice if I had known about it in advance and didn't have to panic find an email to figure it out. Not friendly to disabled or elderly people due to the high number and steepness of stairs. However, the room was clean and orderly, the bathroom was fine, and the location was pretty good.

It’s a bed to sleep in a good location, but don’t expect much else. No frills stay at okay price. Room was outdated, old and looked dirty. Stains in the carpet, poor check-in communication. If you’re looking for room to crash for the night, it will do the trick. The one positive is there is a great pub downstairs with traditional live music at night. Would definitely recommend the Welcome Inn Pub right below, definitely better than spending any amount of time in the room!

Perfect for travelling alone. I'm 6'5" and was comfortable in the twin bed but it was rather loud outside from the strest cleaning early in the morning (not from the pub) and being a bit hot I had to have the windows open. The pub downstairs was brilliant with the nicest people and great music. For the price, convenience, and comfortable for me for this sort of trip, I'd return for sure!

Absolutely perfect location, very walkable. No car needed at all in Cork, I’d say. Our room was at the very top, I don’t mind the stairs but I’d keep them in mind if you have mobility issues or have a lot of baggage. We did self check in, very easy and quick with step by step instructions, perfect for the anti-social traveler lol- or for those arriving very late or early in the day. Definitely recommend popping in for a stay! It’s a lovely spot! I wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

No luggage storage despite being in description

The property advertised luggage storage but it doesn't have it . Room was very tatty and unclean. No kettle in room. Only plus points were it was close to everything and we were allowed to check in early. I wouldn't stay again I'd pay extra to say somewhere else £130 a night including taxes is far to expensive

Not great

The communication with the staff was fine. Gave good information on how to locate the room etc. However, the cleanliness of the room was pretty poor. Staines all over the carpet. Massive brown stains next to the bed. Not convinced the floor had been hoovered. The bathroom although small which is fine was also not very clean. Mould on the edge of the shower and there were tiles missing in the shower. Marks on the bedside table and overall was just not great. Yes the accommodation is affordable but cleanliness should be better.

The Creedon's is just above Murphy's Bar and in a very convenient location for shopping, dining, sports games, the opera house. The space feels a bit like a single room hostel or airbnb, an older building but cute and cozy, well decorated. Check in was easy with a lockbox outside door and parking on the street was free as I stayed on a Sunday. I could see out the window to all the action outside. It was game night that I stayed and Murphy's Bar was PACKED...excellent live music and camaraderie, had a blast singing to well known songs. Great shopping is right on the side street and excellent coffee houses steps away and a great Italian pizza place across the street. Cork is charming and fun, would recommend and this location to stay in.

Happy with stay

The room was adequate for my needs. Stairs would be a problem for some people. Tha location was excellent and the check in/out was easy. A little noisy at night but it did not bother me a d it was highlighted in the description. All in all i was happy with the room

This property needs to update their listing- they are NOT a B&B and do not offer breakfast as listed on Expedia and their property website. If you’re looking to stay out on the town late and just have a space to crash, this may be a good choice for you- live music below rooms until 1/2:00 AM. If you have an early AM flight and just trying to get some rest before, not the best choice. Cleanliness/conditions were what I’d expect from a less expensive hostel. I chose this instead because their breakfast photos looked stellar and I was hoping for that one last Full Irish. Outlets worked fine for charging, one carafe of water in room, no other amenities. Like most other places I stayed in Ireland, if it gives you an option of 2 twins or 1 full it’s 2 twins pushed together. (Not a problem for me, but may be for a couple hoping to stay together and a heads up it seems to be common here). Location is great for a short walk to train station, grocery, busses, food.

Did the job

The accommodation wasnt perfect but it was very well located. It does the job as its a base to sleep and refresh. Im a bit on the large side and struggled with the amenities but over all we where happy with it. A bit on the noisy sude as its above a pub but would expect a bit of hustle as its in a central location. The B&B title should just be B. NO Breakfast. Plenty of eateries on the door step. Overall a nice chilled out break 2*

The property was quite small and mouldy areas in the bathroom. No choice when booking between a double or twin bed so was disappointed to find two singles instead of a double. Walls are not soundproof so can be quite noisy. Other than that it was fine for a night and in a good area, very central.
