The Cornish inn is a charming place to stay. The rooms were so cozy and clean and attractive. I love the fact that they were all dressed up for Christmas. Lindsay's restaurant located in the same building was fantastic as well.
The staff was very responsive when I complained about the late-night noise from the kitchen staff wafting up to our room; no complaints on the second night of our stay! đ
The room had no coat hangers, but I was able to find some in the Housekeeping room. The bathroom sink could use some attention: cold faucet drips continually, and the drain plug doesnât work. This is an historic building, so I understand the difficulty in regulating the heat via radiators, but our room was stiflingly hot; we kept the windows open to stay comfortable. One morning the coffee was not available at 6:30 as promised; breakfast staff and waitstaff in Lindseyâs Kitchen seemed to be late arriving on both mornings of our stay. But overall, a good experience. We will be back!! Thank you!
Great hotel, room was clean and tidy. Would have been nice to have a small tv but we survived. Had breakfast at the restaurant in the hotel and it was amazing.
Terrible mattress. Bathroom needs updating and additional storage, shefs, etc. room air conditioner was noisy and directed right at the bed with no adjustments that had aby more positive effect.
Lovely historical Inn, with inviting and helpful owner. The inn was clean and charming. Breakfast at the neighboring restaurant the next morning was amazing.
This is a great place to stay⊠the only negative that I have is that there is no television in the room⊠but we were busy doing things so it didnât matter But if it was a rainy day and we wanted to hang in and relax⊠it would be nice to have a TV.
