Great big house!

We really enjoyed our stay. Location was great. Tropical storm Ophelia cut our trip short but the days we had were awesome. I would recommend this home!!

Stay at Hook, Wine and Stinkers

The property was exactly as it was stated by VRBO. We were please with how clean it was and the layout of the home. The extra activities, etc. were great and so close. Of all the years we have used VRBO (over 30 at least) this was the best we have ever experienced. We received info on various things in the area and were given discounts, the check-in and out was the easy and we have no complaints at all. Thank you for a great time.

Family fun!

We had a great stay in Corolla. There were 6 adults and one child. Plenty of room and ability for some privacy with the bedroom suites. We had enough room to eat together. Having the pool was awesome. The location cannot be any better! Walk right out the back yard to restaurants, shops and putt putt. The trolley was right there as well although it was a short walk to the beach and community pools. Would stay here again and had enough room for even a few more family members.

The cottage was beautiful however,the decks and the deck around the pool were very dirty and the kitchen could use a few more supplies. My family loves to cook, and there wasn’t a can opener or larger pots for cooking crabs. Did not get our souvenir bag 😱

Excellent spot for an active family

Great house with an ideal location - you can walk to the beach, swim in your heated pool, or stroll over to 4+ family restaurants. It's also just a short drive to other restaurants and attractions in the Corolla/Duck area. It's an "upside down" house with the master bedroom on the top floor and beds on mid-level for the kids. My kids had a ball with their privacy, but other families may want to take advantage of the 3 bedrooms on the mid-level if they don't yet trust their kids on their own level. Lots of "bonus" amenities, including a pool table and board games. We had a very minor issue (HVAC got stuck on a temperature) and the host fixed it fully on the same day. We had an amazing time and would definitely come back.

A Plus Vacation Home!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Thank you for allowing us in your home. We had a party of 11 people staying in the home. It was beautiful. We had beautiful weather. Great location, short walk to the beach. Loved having the pool to cool off in after a beach day. Walk to breakfast and mini golf. We can't say enough about this place. We had maintenance come out to look at the outlets by the pool, and it was only a flipped breaker. They were quick and reliable though! Clean, uncluttered, great place to gather. Our only suggestions would be to list more of what is available in the kitchen. We are planners and that would be super helpful so we wouldn't have taken as much. And also the furniture on the mid level deck is flaking paint. We had two more people that didn't fit at the dining room table, which was a bummer, but we made it work with the island. We hope to be back!!!
