My family enjoyed our time at Port A Getaway. The house was comfy and clean. A coupla issues
 the tub in 2nd floor bathroom was slow to drain (water pooled around the ankles); the sink in the 2nd floor sink drained slowly: the dishwasher was loose from mount. Otherwise, great stay.

Beach Get A Way

This was a great house to stay in, there were some bug issues, no deal breakers as we are by the water and is somewhat expected. The location is wonderful and the area was fun. It's not exactly a 4 minute walk, but very close drive. Everything was super convenient and I would come here again and recommend to everyone. I would update the book in the home with instructions on check out and wifi passwords.

Great Family Vacation Rental

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Port A Getaway! The kitchen was completely stocked, the beds were super comfortable, and the location is perfect! Our only concern is the bottom step on the exterior of the house. We had a family friend visit and she fell and hurt her ankle due to poor lighting! Overall though, it was the prefect house for our family vacation!

21st Birthday Bash

House was exactly what we needed for our group of 11! The large open family room dining area/kitchen is PERFECT for this size of group. Elevator came in extra handy in transporting bags to bedrooms unpo arrival and departure AND when grilling food. Loved the rooftop deck in the early mornings for sunrise and sunsets. Close to downtown nightlife and close to the beach. Bunkroom is a little small for 5 people to stay in ... I would suggest switching the 1st floor master suite to a multi bed room (bunks), and make the king room on 2nd gloor the master. But other than that...no complaints. We had a wonderful time!!! Thank you for opening your home to us!

2nd Stay at this Port A house.

This was our second year at this Port A gem, and it keeps getting better. We travel with another family, so 11 of us (4 adults, 5 teens, 2 younger kids) need plenty of elbow room—this house delivers. Bedrooms are spacious, living areas are open, and no one ever felt cramped.The kitchen is stocked far beyond the typical vacation rental—sharp knives, ample cookware, even storage containers for leftovers—so feeding a crowd was easy. Beach toys, chairs, and towels were all provided, which lightened our packing list.Communication with the property manager was quick and friendly from booking through checkout, and the quiet neighborhood is just minutes from the beach and restaurants.Bottom line: spotless, thoughtfully equipped, and truly family-friendly. We’ve already penciled it in for next year!

Best Port A property we’ve stayed at!!!

I am super picky about cleanliness, this place was almost immaculate. Kitchen well stocked with dishes, utensils, cookware, etc. Could have used more trash bags, paper towels, and toilet paper for a 5 night stay with 10 people. Excellent location for golf cart rentals, convenient store, beach and shops. Beautiful view of the ocean! We opened the blinds in the living area first thing every morning so we could see the water. I can’t say enough good things about this property and New Wave management. We have rented several properties over the past 10 years, this one is our new favorite.

Perfect for whole family

Unit #62 was excellent!!! Loved their BIG table where all 12 of us could sit together at the same time to eat our meals! ❀ Ping pong game was a hit for everyone! Even grandparents played! Could borrow kids toys, tons n tons of board games, beach chairs, and boggle boards!!! Had an outside hose available to clean stuff after going to beach. Grandparents loved their separate bottom bedroom to get some peace n quite after a long day with their adorable and lovable but rowdy teenager n toddlersđŸ€Ł

Great vacation home for family gatherings

Our family really enjoyed our stay! The home was well decorated with plenty of space and bunks for the kids. The elevator was great to have for m parents. We particularly enjoyed the patio, porches, and rooftop deck was lovely to use during sunsets and sunrises. Great location within walking distance to the beach. My only suggestion would be bringing some of your own basics like hand soap, sanitizing wipes, dishwasher fluid and dish soap. The house was not as stocked in this department as we would have liked, but at the same time, this wouldn't preclude me from booking it again. We did not complain/let management know, so not sure it's fair to take away a star for this. Overall, it was a great stay and we loved it!

Reviewer Comments: We had such a great experience with new wave last year when they worked hard finding us just the right place, we were a little worried that once they had our business, the customer service wouldn’t be as good. That is definitely not the case. Everyone there (especially) Kathy has been amazing. The place is just what we’d hoped for, and every time we have a question or needed something, they’ve been right on it. No doubt in our mind that they’re the best in town.

It was very clean and the beds were super comfortable and the a/c was cold! Plus the rooftop deck was perfect to enjoy sunsets every night. Only issue we had was we couldn’t get the gas grill to start - but ran to store to get some charcoal and used the charcoal grill. We have already talked about booking this place for next summer!

This house is up-to-date, clean, roomy & beautiful. The elevator is a nice touch & made loading & unloading much easier. I would suggest management leave some information on how to use the TVs, community pool location & where the trash dumpster is located. I felt management was playing a bit of a game with check-in when they told me they sent an email that my room was ready & how to access the house when I never received the email. It all worked out but it was not convenient and rather aggravating.

The elevator was a must for this 3-story house, and we really appreciated it! The management company left a lovely gift bag with a couple of fillable k-cups and other cute things. Our favorite thing about this property was being able to see the water from the living area, and if you go up top, you can glimpse the beach, too! Our only complaint was the small step at the bottom of the stairs. It is cement and is painted the same color as the landing. Everyone in our party tripped over it at some point and one person fell and had to have stitches. I've reported it and the property management said they will speak to the owner. Mind your step and you'll be fine. If you're drinking alcohol, you probably won't be. LOL

Port-A-Getaway is a great location but you do have to drive to the beach, not far! Overall clean house but few areas need deep cleaning. Garage has everything you need for the beach! Kitchen is well stocked. The smoke detectors started beeping and they came out in less than an hour and replaced them! There are a lot of stairs but elevator worked perfect!! Great house for 12 people!!

Awesome Getaway!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I had family & friends join me for Sandfest’21. The house was so close everything. Super convenient.House was beautiful! Decorated just right w all the fabulous beachy finds!Kitchen equipped w everything you need, even Crab & Shrimp Boil pot.I highly recommend staying here!
