Our stay at Flip Flop Life OV22 turned out to be great, but it didn’t start that way. When we arrived, we learned the golf cart a key amenity for us was out of commission. It was frustrating, but the management team ultimately made it right, and we appreciated their effort to resolve it quickly.Once that hurdle was behind us, the rest of our stay was wonderful. The home is beautiful, clean, and exactly as pictured. The location is great close to the beach and restaurants, yet still peaceful. In the end, we enjoyed our time here and would consider staying again.

Great Location and House

Overall it was great. I was disappointed this listing said the golf cart was included in the title. Then found out 3 days before leaving the golf cart is not included because it was broken. They are refunding us 50 a night for it. Which I appreciate . Otherwise was very pleased with everything

GOLF CART DOESN'T WORK! Anyone staying in Port Aransas knows that one of the most important things to do is have a golf cart! Well, unfortunately, my family and I spent several hours standing on the side of the road waiting for our golf cart to be repaired after it broke down on us. The technician never got it to work. The management company refused to help us find another golf cart. Every place we called in town had zero available golf carts. Had we gotten a replacement golf cart, I would have never left this poor review. I am beyond disappointed in how this was handled.

Family fun with room for everyone.

Loved having the golf cart from the moment we got there until we were ready to leave. The place was spotless and the kitchen had everything we needed and then some. We had trouble with the garage door when we first got there, but one call and they had someone out immediately. The guys kept saying it was the best nights sleep they had gotten in a while because the beds were so comfy. Wish we had brought the fishing poles for the kids. With the little pond out back it is the perfect spot to just drop a line and relax.

Great home away from home!

We stayed for 6 days and loved the house. It fit 8 of us comfortably plus 2 dogs. The downstairs outdoor TV, fenced in yard, and golf cart were our main selling points! Kids loved the bunk beds and gaming system. Overall, happy with our stay in Port A :)

Perfect for our family

Perfect set up for our family. Large kitchen and dining table. Cozy sofa set up for all 8 of us. Downstairs fenced in area was great for our dogs. And the golf cart was a big bonus!

Port A With near Beach Week

Had a great time. Property was nicely decorated with beachy theme throughout. Very nice neighborhood with other friendly folks and their dogs. Covered parking and nice outdoor seating areas upstairs and down. Other than putting out trash and starting dishwasher checkout was a breeze. We’re in our 70s and they provided free unloading and loading of our vehicle.

Wonderful stay at Flip Flop Life

The house was clean, had lots of tableware, kitchen appliances, etc. The beach is just a short golf cart ride from the house. It was well maintained, nicely decorated, great layout and a relaxing experience.

Port A weekend escape

We had a fantastic time at our Port A escape! The house was so spacious and perfect for a long fun family weekend excursion to the beach. We especially loved the fun outdoor area downstairs and the inclusion of the golf cart.

Great location!

We so enjoyed our stay. Golf cart was super convenient and on the right side of the highway to use to get to the beach. Rooms were comfortable and loved the big dining table for family meals. Outdoor shower is so convenient for getting the sand off. Loved it. Would stay here again.

Amazing Place!

One of the nicest, most polished VRBOs we've stayed at. Everything looked new and recently renovated in the kitchen/living room/bedrooms. Bathrooms weren't super updated but were clean and no issues. The golf cart that came with the property worked great as well. Had a small drive to the beach as there wasn't access directly from the neighborhood but was super simple. Will definitely stay here again if we return.

Lots of room

Pros:The place is decorated well. Kitchen has all the amenities. The downstairs bar area was a plus! Lots of room for a group. Cons: Your bare feet will reflect the dirty floor in kitchen/living are. It advertises a foosball table but it was rusted, handles fell off, balls missing, defly not workable & that goes for the dart board as well. In fact it was rusted & laying on the floor. I think both items need to be removed in advertising. The community pool area had broken furniture, clothes shed on fence/chairs & the place is in need of some good TLC.
