All good could have used a deeper cleaning and furniture is a little worn down. Also cooking pans need to be replaced. Beds were comfortable. Pool was nice and location was perfect. We rented a beach buggy that was delivered and waiting when we arrived.

We stayed here with some friends and our kids and had a great time! The grill was missing but once we alerted management, they had one delivered to the property within 30 minutes. Very responsive hosts and close enough to walk to the beach.

Redneck Riviera

The stairs were hard on me, I am older, but the kids did not mind them. Because the pool is on the side where sun hits it, the pool needs water to circulate to stay cooler. It was more like a hot tub. One of the downstairs baths has a crack in the floor, which was a little worrisome, but we used it anyway. The toilet paper holder in that same bathroom needs to be repaired so that the toilet paper can roll easily. But it was fun besides all that and having a golf cart is a must. Easy commute to the beach make all the difference. The boardwalk is the best access we have ever had on our Port Aransas stays.

Weekend Getaway

We enjoyed our time at Redneck Riviera. The property was clean and as advertised. The air conditioning was strong and the beds were comfortable. The only issue we encountered was the washing machine having some manner of leak. However, we turned off the water at the wall and reported the issue to the property manager. Overall this was a great property, with a great location and the added bonus of a private pool. We would definitely stay again.

Nice House

Overall: The house from the outside looked nice. The pool was clean and very nice to have with the kids. If it was cleaner we would rent again but we shall see. Walking in- there were no carpets at the front door or in any bathrooms. There we no extra blankets for any of the beds and no extra towels. The "Fully stocked kitchen" was adequate i suppose. The outside back deck was dirty and has cleaning supplies left on it will all of the bird poop. There were roaches...and not just one but many. For some reason the water had been turned off to the washing machine and after using it we found out why. It would leak a bit after each load. There were a few heavy showers that had come thru while there and the vent above the stove would have water coming in. The master bedroom bed DEFINATLY needs to be changed along with all the other rooms. When you lay down you would roll to the center it was so bad. There was no water hose in the front to wash the golf cart off after being at the beach as well.

Perfect place by the beach

I love the set up downstairs only two bed rooms but there is a space outside the rooms with bunk beds and its own bathroom so it almost feels like 3 bedrooms. Master suite upstairs. The pool was definitely a bonus after the hot beach all day. Our family had a great time! Thank you so much.

Roomy house

The house itself is beautiful and roomy, however it does seem a little neglected. Master bath had crack in toilet seat which appears to have been glued, and toilets could have been cleaner. Reviews did have overall good ratings of cleanliness but for me it was not. Some of cabinets could have used a good wipe down. Random light bulbs out in dark areas like laundry room. Also the upstairs patio facing the back had so many spider nests it definitely needed a good power wash. Overall location was great plenty of parking in the driveway. Short walk to the beach. Pool was a nice bonus to have and also neighborhood pools. House itself had all the appliances you needed.

RENTER BEWARE!

I rented this home 100% because of the pool! The pool was unusable. The pump went out before my arrival. The pool was slimy, cloudy, and smelled. The pool guy said if the owner approves I can have one installed in the morning. He got it working that first day, and then it went out again. And, of course nothing about the pump after that! The dryer is not working. The maintenance guy said the owner was aware of it before us and had been told it needs a new one. Refrigerator door shelves literally being held up by tape! The carpet was full of hair. Found the vacuum in the closet. Of course, it doesn't work and is taped together. Old dog pee on bookcase leg and around one of the chairs in the upstairs living area. Keep in mind they charge you a cleaning fee! Moldy ceiling vents and I mean moldy! Yes maintenance man (a very nice man) came out and cleaned them asap. Perhaps it should have been done prior to arrival. I wish I could post photos of all of this. Honestly, this place is not worth the money. I should have been offered a refund of some sort. I paid quite a bit of money for 4 days. Instead I got a text message saying "we are sorry to hear about all these issues. If you wish to discuss further please call". They should of been contacting me. This house is not what is advertised. I have photos and will see if I can upload them and leave a review on other sites. Steer clear of this property!

perfect place for our family! lots of room. only bad was couldn’t find pool light. Dryer didn’t work

awesome place to stay lots of room. good golf card ride to the beach. nice community. private pool was a huge hit for us. only cons for us was the dryer would not dry our clothes and we couldn’t find the pool light switch. We found a switch and it was stuck in the off position but it was not labeled. not sure if that was it or not.
