Advertised as an extended stay hotel, we found NOTHING in the room that could be used for cooking or eating. We found out only as we were checking out that there were kits available with the things we needed - plates, silverware, etc. Seems like the clerk fell down on the job at check in. That's kind of immaterial, since the room had a BIG window that, when the curtains were opened, revealed frosted glass overlooking a dark workroom/storage area The room had NO SUNLIGHT - NONE. We put up with living in a dungeon for a week because someone apparently didn't think we needed to be able to see the sky or enjoy natural light. But back to the "kitchenette". No lights - we had to move a floor lamp to have enough light to be able to see what we were doing. And ONE duplex outlet, which was shared between the refrigerator (which had never been leveled), under powered microwave, and coffee pot. And the highlight of our week: the false fire alarm that went off at around midnight. And the non-working card lock on the swimming pool door. And the repulsive scent of whatever stink-um was sprayed in the automated dispensers in the hallway. And the inability to change anything about the AC/heater. And a general lack of power outlets throughout the room. The cleaning staff was more pleasant and helpful than all but one of the front desk crew.

First, they gave us a room even without cleaning from previous stay. Further, the room we stay was at 1st floor, the carpet is dirty, not sure if they cleaned has been cleaned before. The whole room was moist, made us very uncomfortable vs the price we paid.

The property is clean and friendly. One odd thing is that the pillows have hard plastic security tags on them so if you flip your pillow you lay in them lol I guess people steal pillows??

The beds were so comfortable and having a full fridge and microwave was really convenient. There is a pool but the door was always locked. I never saw anyone use it. The staff was hit or miss. Some mornings the free coffee in the lobby was full and fresh which is a nice bonus but other mornings it was never refilled after the first pot. We stayed here because we were moving our daughter to Cornell and we were not paying $350 or more for 2 star hotels near the school. We were happy we chose this hotel. Cute town and beautiful drive to Cornell with no traffic and lots of food choices in the area. If you are looking to book it for the pool I would not suggest it but if you need a nice, safe comfortable room with PLENTY of space, comfy beds and a friendly town this would be a great choice.

The room was spacious, clean and the beds had soft sheets. The staff at the front desk was never there. Always had to wait for the front desk clerk. Kids kept banging on our door and running. The sink was stopped up with coffee grinds from the previous guest I guess. Room phone didn’t work. Lots of places to eat near by.

Very Clean, older updated hotel

Stayed here to drop my son off to SUNY Cortland for two nights; was exceedingly clean, and well cared for. The lack of an elevator is something significant; so don’t pack bags heavy, and there is only one luggage cart which did not appear at all during my two day stay.

Good overall

It was a good stay, no issue with checking in, the room was clean. There was a strand of hair in the shower from previous guests but you can tell the space was cleaned so didn’t sweat it. They use scented air freshener all throughout the hallway and it’s really strong, I mentioned it to the front desk clerk and she acknowledged some guests think it’s too strong but didn’t offer to turn it down. I guess that’s how they like it but for people with Asthma, CIRS and other health problems, it can be problematic.
