Harrison Spring Cabin - Surplombant la rivière Blue et Harrison Spring - Assez confortable pour deux, mais assez grand pour accueillir confortablement quatre personnes. La cabane Harrison Spring surplombe l'endroit où la source se jette dans la rivière Bleue. Harrison Spring est l'une des plus grandes sources à l'est du Mississippi et figure sur la liste des sites naturels nationaux. La cabine est sur pilotis et offre une belle vue sur la rivière Bleue et la source. Le ressort est toujours de 54 degrés et cela modère vraiment la température autour de la cabine. Un grand porche enveloppant offre une vue étendue sur la rivière et est un endroit relaxant pour les amis et les invités à se réunir. Une salle familiale intérieure offre des possibilités de rassemblement supplémentaires.

La cabine est meublée dans une atmosphère de camp fluvial et dispose d'une salle de bain complète avec douche. Il y a deux chambres et les deux chambres ont un lit double. La cabine est climatisée et chauffée.


Accès pratique à la rivière Bleue: La rivière Bleue est bien connue pour le canotage, la pêche et la faune abondante. Une grande partie de la partie inférieure de la rivière est bordée par la forêt d'État Harrison Crawford et le parc d'État O'Bannon Woods. La propriété est idéalement située sur la rivière afin que vous puissiez organiser une variété de voyages en utilisant les points d'accès publics en amont et en aval.

Women hiking trip

Last year my friend and I stayed at a hotel to explore Corydon. We decided to try a VRBO property this year and it couldn’t have been better. Privacy, beauty, space and close to all the places we wanted to explore. Jennifer met us at the cabin and was very welcoming and gave us lots of ideas of places to visit. The rooms and bathroom are small so it was perfect for two women. We are already planning our next trip!

Really lovely.

We made a short trip for weekend. We love O’Bannon Woods State park which is even closer than google said. Host was very kind and accommodating even though I goofed the booking. The cabin is two rooms but sweetly decorated and cozy. No wifi but cell service with my carrier. But the spot where the cabin on the Blue River couldn’t be more lovely.

Quite and was ideal for our needs, loved the river view. Missi was very helpful when we needed a few things, my suggestion would be to try and fit 2 twin beds in spare bedroom and to clean paddle fans. We stay at a lot of VRBO in the past 7 years and I like all the unique aspects of each rental, loved the screen door making its little noise( reminds me of my grandma) . Would rent with Missi again.

Beautiful little cabin on the river

We had to arrive late because of a prior engagement, but we loved this place nonetheless. Being feet from the river was really nice, and being a short drive from Corydon gave us access to great restaurants and a great coffee shop in Kent Java Bar. We'll be visiting again, for sure!

A river runs through it

Access to the Harrison Spring and Blue River made this such a unique experience. We enjoyed taking a nice dip and listening to the water at night. It’s peaceful here which is what we are looking for. Bonus was the charcoal outdoor grill. The steaks cooked beautifully.

BEAUTIFUL! Everything about it! So much history in the area! The spring flowing into the Blue River unbelievable, so amazing! Nighttime the sounds of nature amazing! It was everything we expected but more. We wanted a quiet place to fish and relax. We’re in our 60s not in the greatest health but we’re OK. The property manager was so sweet she carried all of our stuff from the car up to the cabin. Insisted on coming back to help us pack up the car when we left. She went way out of her way to make sure we had everything to make this a great stay.

Adorable Cabin

We had a wonderful time at the cabin and were able to see various types of birds, deer swim across the river and even caught a few fish. The cabin is located close to town making it easy to run into town for anything you might have forgotten. However, the host has thought of everything and left us a few toiletries that we might have forgotten in the bathroom! You will have some highway noise but it’s nothing compared to the view and the sound of the spring meeting the river. This was the perfect getaway for my husband and me. We were both able to disconnect and just be.

Quaint little home is only 10 minutes from town. Nice to sit out in the morning and listen to the river. Can hear some traffic in the background, but not too bad. Amazing playground for children only 8 minutes away. House was the cleanest I have ever seen in a Vrbo.

Girls retreat

We had already had a few days of exciting girls trip and we needed some relaxing time at the end. This was a great getaway for peace and quiet. We loved having the deck overlooking the river and sitting out on the rocking chairs to have our morning coffee and evening drinks. We enjoyed and evening by the fire pit as well. The host was so sweet and gave us great ideas for eating out and she was so accommodating.
