Enjoyed our time at TRS Coral! Our butlers Eladio and Alexia were fantastic and provided us with excellent service. Our golf cart driver Oscar was fantastic and drove us around all week. Food was good at Portifino, the French restaurant and both steakhouses. The coffee shop was great too! Our swim up was nice but the water could've been warmer. Overall a great time and would return in the future.

I had an absolutely amazing time for my birthday. From start to finish it was top notch. The lobby smells so magical. The food was fantastic. Our butlers were amazing. The best costumer service I have ever received in my life has been from Carlos Mota the Rooms Division Manager, from the moment we check in he greeted us with open arms and treated us like if he knew us all his life. He gave us incredible recommendations to the best restaurants, set us up with the best tables and always checked up on us during our whole stay. The staff was amazing and took care of our room and special occasions like our anniversary. Each night we dined we had rose pedals on our table and our bed had rose pedals as well. It was very thoughtful and made us feel special. We will definitely be back!

We just got back yesterday from a 10-day stay at TRS Coral, and honestly, it was the worst resort experience we’ve ever had in Cancun — and also the most expensive. This was our 5th trip to Cancun, and every other hotel we stayed at was much better. In 10 days, we had to change rooms 3 times. The first room had two queen beds instead of the king we requested. The second swim-out had an AC that wasn’t working properly and made such a loud noise we couldn’t sleep. The third swim-out had a broken cleaning system that made awful noise at night. At one point they told us it was “fixed” and wouldn’t come back, but a few days later the noise returned because they set the cleaning time back to midnight. Only two days before checkout did they finally say, “Here’s our best room available.” By then, we said no — we weren’t about to waste more time packing and unpacking again with just two days left. On top of that, the rooms are outdated and falling apart: TVs stopped working three times, WiFi kept cutting out, the remote stopped working, and even the outlets didn’t work properly. For a place that calls itself 5-star, this is unacceptable. The hotel badly needs a remodel. The service was just as bad. The front desk didn’t care and kept making excuses instead of fixing things. The butler service was useless — they rarely answered, and when they did, it took forever. We just got back yesterday from a 10-day stay at TRS Coral, and honestly, it was the worst resort experience we’ve ever had in Cancun — and also the most expensive. This was our 5th trip to Cancun, and every other hotel we stayed at was much better.
