Kids loved that there was a canoe they could use for the creek that runs through the property! But the location is far from restaurants, thereâs only one grocery store nearby, it was a good experience though!
We stayed in the glamping tent. The tent is very spacious, with simple accommodation. The campground is clean and quiet. I think the tent is over priced, but there is no other accommodation available around the region, we had no choice.
Beyond the resorts control, there was no electric. Completely understandable. But, there was no flash lights, candles or emergency light source in the Guest House. And with no electric or generator we were without running water. Couldnât take a shower or use the toilet. They should be better prepared for emergencies to accommodate their guests.
Unfortunately we were unable to stay , this property was double booked⊠after a 10 hour day of drivingâŠwe had to find alternative accommodationsâŠ.. which were very sparse.
The Clerk at the resort, was very apologetic and helped contact hotels.com.
So if your headed here please call and double check your reservationâŠ..We had scheduled our stay in February ⊠and gotten emails about upcoming stay.
Facilities could use upkeep. The air condition unit could not keep up and a fan was needed for bedroom of cabin. AC unit was extremely noisy which made it hard to watch tv or sleep. Limited communication with management when power was lost which caused no working toilets, water or showers. Cabin was relatively clean , bed was ok.
Perfect place for a family trip to crater lake. My 15 year old loved the grounds. He even took a swim in the freezing cold creek! We had a great time playing corn hole and pickle ball. The staff was so friendly and attentive. Would definitely stay again!
Beautiful setting. Well maintained grounds but no chairs outside at our cabin. Cash only at the store was inconvenient since we weren't aware beforehand. Very nice staff and convenient to Crater Lake.
The room was described as a room. This was an actual trailer with no air conditioning. I got there and it was 95 inside . The toilet and shower are literally not even separated and i paid over 200$ for one night. I had to leave it was so hot. Awful. Do not recommend due to no full photos of the room and not accurately describing the toilet shower situation or the fact its an absolute oven in july.
This was a great find. Beautiful location and so convenient to Crater Lake National Park. Rooms were so comfortable and so well stocked. The camp store was also so well stocked and everyone was so friendly. Highly recommend!
We booked this so called resort by paying pretty high price for what we thought a cabin, but got a family tent instead, and we didnât realize that it is actual a tent after arrival, not cabin as it described in the resort webpage. Since we were traveling to many places with a child and need table etc for our stays, so we could not stay in the tent. We ended up staying in an actual hotel (Shilo Inn, a nice hotel with free breakfast) about 25 minutes drive away with similar price. We didnât get any refund back from resort after requesting unsuccessfully to get some refund through Expedia. Be aware what you book for. If you can manage to drive 25 minutes south, you will get plenty hotel choices. The resort area has a lot of mosquitoes. There is only a single shower to share in bathroom by all.
