Wonderful stay! The one-bedroom place had everything we needed! So comfy, and secure- 5 minute walk to the beach or the grocery store!if we ever return to the Redwoods- hereâs where weâll stay!
The place was clean and comfortable and convenient. My only tiny complaint is that they only had a keurig v a normal coffee maker (to brew a whole pot on a timer) but otherwise it had everything you need.
The unit itself was acceptable. However, the lack of a working HVAC system, and the complete lack of response from Raul when contacted was unacceptable. The unit would not cool down, and I messaged Raul, to which he never responded. To make the temperature in the unit bearable for sleeping, I opened the windows, and the screen in the kitchen/living room area had a large tear in one location and a hole in another location. Because of this, it was necessary to put toilet paper in the screen to keep the insects out.Sadly, my unit was not the only unit with this issue. When I went out for dinner, ALL of the units on the second floor had their windows open to let cooler air in.Given that I paid almost 200 for a one-night stay and have a heat-sensitive health condition, I would have greatly appreciated notification from the property owner that the HVAC cooling system was not functioning, or, at an absolute minimum, a response to my message.Although the unit was spacious and had a full kitchen, given the HVAC issues and the complete lack of professionalism by the staff, I will not stay here again, and I strongly advise others to ensure everything is in working order before doing so.
The property was great and easy to access. From the property, we walked down to the lighthouse one morning as well as park. The accommodations were comfy and spacious. The kitchen was well-equipped. The bathroom was very big and the bed was super comfortable. I would definitely stay again.
Amazing amenities! Close to everything. Host gave great places to hit while there and was very friendly and communicated alot . Only feedback would be if the A/C worked alittle better but you are by the ocean! Just open the windows!!
Great space very clean and updated. The washer and dryer are shared with other units but it was super easy to do a load of laundry on our roadtrip. Walking distance to some great coffee at Paragon and good food at Kin Khai! Right next door to the redwood national park admin building where they have a gift shop and super knowledgeable staff! Stop by for recs on trails and sights in the park. Very easy check in and check out process! Super professional vacation rental spot.
Newly remodeled 2nd floor that is in great shape. Clean and spacious. Two slight drawbacks: that the unit I was in must have been close to some kind of exterior HVAC unit that was somewhat noisy, and it would have been nice if the bedroom window shade kept out a bit more light from the adjoining property at night. Still, with the collection of older motels in Crescent City, I think this has to be the best place to stay in town! It was great to have a full kitchen. The free-to-use laundry room was a real bonus, and it's easy to walk to many shops/restaurants.
The place was clean with newer updates inside. The matteress was good, shower pressure/hot water was excellent!. The place was perfect for 2 people for 2 nights!
This place was great for us! Clean, quiet, and had everything we needed! The hosts were quick and easy to communicate with and made sure we had recommendations for restaurants and things to see while we were in Crescent City. If we ever make it back to this part of the country we would love to stay here again!
Owner was super helpful with lots of good suggestions! Place was clean and there was lots of nice touches & helpful supplies available in the room. We had an awesome stay!
