We had a great stay and the host ws quick to reply to a couple issues day 1. The property was clean and we loved the open floor plan on the 2nd floor with the kitchen, dining room, and den. The bathrooms were spacious. The kitchen well stocked with everything you need. We grilled steaks on the outdoor gas grill and made breakfast every day. Great coffee maker and gas range. We enjoyed the accommodations and would come back.
Shorter 4 night stay during the summer. The walk to Elk street restaurants and shops is very reasonable, about 5 plus minutes depending on where you're going, we actually liked the walk. The main area to live in here is the second floor with the kitchen and seating. It is a very bright inviting space with a nice area to sit and gather with friends/family in the evening. The main bedroooms are on the first floor, both with their own bath. It is set up well with storage and places to put your gear while traveling. It is not an amazing property, but it is very nice, clean, and felt comfortable. I would definitely rent here again.
easy check in and great space, especially the upstairs living area ! We really enjoyed the communal space, the location and proximity to town. Recommend!
The Elk cottage was the perfect place for my family and me to stay for our visit to Crested Butte. It was clean, quiet, spacious and the location was fantastic. The townhouse is a short walk from the restaurants, bars and shops. It was also close to the bus stop to get up to the mountain and back for hiking and biking. We would stay will stay there again when we go back.
My husband and I enjoyed staying in this townhome during our stay for the Alley Loop! It is a very clean townhome, with a great steam shower, lovely living room, in a highly walkable part of town.
Staying 3 nights for Crested Butte Ultra. Convenient location a short walk to start line and downtown! Home is clean and well stocked. Beds were super comfortable with lots of extra pillows and blankets. Overall great stay and easy check-in/out.
We had a wonderful stay at the Elk Cottage. It was mostly as the pictures describe, with the exception of the back patio fire pit, basically there wasn't one. The upper deck was lovely and the living area very comfortable. There is a washer and dryer, we had a bit of trouble with the spin cycle on the washer, it might just need a check up. The entrance is at the side of the house and there are renters in the front part of the house. The house is very private and we only saw the neighbors once. We brought our dog and he had a bit of trouble navigating steps up to the house, they are metal for catching snow and can hurt the paws. Overall, a lovely, comfortable stay in a great location in an amazing little town.
We stayed for a long weekend for a family event. House was within walking distance of everything. Kitchen was great. House was super clean. We had four adults and one teenager and we had more than enough room for everyone to stay comfortably.
