Wagon was in a lovely location on a farm and owner was very nice, once I managed to find the farm , but checking in time or instructions would have been helpful .
Bed was comfortable and I did appreciate the tea, sugar and milk provided , but the room itself was quite cold -with one tiny inadequate heater .
Bathroom was also very cold and smelled very damp and unfortunately the toilet seat was loose and shooting off to one side.
A beautiful converted train wagon nestled in the Welsh countryside. Very well put together with most amenities available. Very comfy bed - small but well sized for a intimate break together.
There were just a few things we thought to mention:
1. No WiFi came as a huge surprise. Personally we (and probably most) assumed there would be wifi. We wouldâve really appreciated this being explicitly stated.
2. There was practically no communication from the hosts, just an empty email with a pin on a map. No check in or checkout instructions were mentioned before our trip. It felt a bit strange to be staying on their farm with them working and basically being ignored!!
3. The wagon couldâve done with a few extras; oil to cook with, wood for the fire pit outside, and some kitchen towels/paper towels for the dishes.
Overall would recommend but be warned about the WiFi! :)
