Please take the key to the check-in Lodge and drop it in the black box on the wall to the left when you walk in.
Please take your trash to the garbage cans by the green wall next to the barn.
The cabin needed cleaning and updating. The outlets in the cabin didnât work well, some of the microwave buttons also didnât work properly. There were dust bunnies underneath the bed.
I absolutely loved this place! It was rustic and charming. The check-in was so easy, as was check-out. Communication from the owners was terrific. The location was quiet and it was nice to sit on the porch and listen to the creek. The outside of the cabins might need a little TLC.
The bonus was the history of this place! People used to come from all over in the late 1800's and early 1900's to drink water from the spring, which was said to have healing properties. The hotel that used to be there burned down, but the cabins remain. What was cool was that I read about Healing Springs (the old hotel) in a museum display years ago and it was such a a cool surprise to learn that these cabins are one in the same. I would definitely stay here again and I've already recommended it to friends.
Oh! And you can go get yourself some water from the spring while you're there!
Peaceful, friendly down-home vibe unlike any other. Homey, safe, family feel in every way. Love what the ânewâ owners are doing to improve and honor the traditions of this very historic retreat. I came here first as a child, before the old hotel burned, and have known it through the decades. We will be back! Thank you, Sandy and partners! đ
the area was pretty but the cabin itself was smaller than expected. the pictures showed a full house but our cabin was just a room. it was unexpected and i felt catfished. the bathroom wouldnât lock or close and the toilet wouldnât flush and had an issue. the cabin itself wasnât cleaned and was a little dirty
I was on a business trip but made it a personal relaxing trip for myself. The Cabins at Healing Springs did not disappoint. On my list of places to return to again.
