Somehow the property had no record of our reservations through Hotels.com. Hotels.com is impossible to figure out how to contact them on the phone. Finally was granted a refund 4 days later. Luckily the property had a room available, but with a single not a double. Had to use a cot. Hotel.com could do a better job with making their customer service easier to contact

Bad impression. Front desk person is a smoker and the first breath in was strong cigarette smell. Front person unkempt, rude at first, later changed demeanor. No programmed key, old style. All in all, old, neglected place.

Upon arrival I was informed that I did not have a reservation. Not sure what happened but the clerk said they had not received anything about my reservation. No other rooms available, no vacancies in town at all. No help from Expedia. What can a virtual agent do anyway. No way to make a room magically become available. While I did not even see the inside of a room I must say the place also looks like a dump and the clerk was rude as hell and not helpful either.
