The cabin was rustic with a touch of industrial. Back porch and upper deck was enjoyable for the whole family, my wife and kids stayed up most of the night playing board games and socializing on the porch. The cabin is maybe a 8 minute ride to Smith Lake Park which we took full advantage of for three days, even rented a pontoon boat one of those days. It was very easy to find using gps. Beds were comfortable and clean. It took a little getting used to with no blinds or curtains on windows for privacy reasons, but that being said after night one we were totally comfortable with it. Kitchen area a little cramped for space, but worked fine for us since we didn’t really do much cooking of any kind. We did not take advantage of grill either but looked well kept. My wife and I stayed in the upstairs bedroom, only suggestion we would have with that is to maybe install a handrail to help assist the stairs. Overall we give it 5 stars. Would definitely and hopefully stay there again. Jay, our host was always at the touch of a phone there and in a timely manner. Looking forward for another stay.
