Nice hotel with clean, spacious and modern rooms and a great pool. Breakfast was decent, with a good rotation of daily options and local staples. The location is fine, but not the best to explore Danang - most nearby restaurants were closed around lunch time, and pretty much all major attractions (except for the dragon bridge and cruises departure point) are not within walking distance and require guests to take a grab/taxi to get to. Our biggest complaint about our stay has to be the staff whom, while always polite, quite agressively tried to get us to book overpriced tours and private transports around the city (the receptionist texted me twice on Whatsapp to ask if we would like to book a tour and lobby attendants asked what our plans were and if we wanted to book something through them or have them make a reservation for us at Madame Lân every single time we arrived at/departed from the hotel, which got tiring very quickly). The waitress at the restaurant also cleared out my table and let someone else sit in my spot the SECOND I got up to grab some fruits during breakfast on my second day. Overall quite pleased with our stay and we would definitely stay there again.

Everything was nice about this property but what stands out the most was our host and concierge Mya and Lucie who were very hospitable and warm since before we came to the property. From airport pick up until our last day, they took good care of us like family. I couldn’t give more praise for their service.

This hotel is a bit of a catfish. It’s obviously old there seems to be a lot of construction. There is no sound perfect can hear all the noise either from the street or any movement by the workers in the surrounding area. It is certainly not a four star hotel.

This was by far the nicest hotel that I stayed at. My room was very modern and clean. I’m shocked that this isn’t a 5 star. The breakfast was also really good and the area for breakfast was very clean and had beautiful views of the city. I also appreciated the concierge who helped me find a restaurant that served the one dish I wanted to try!

The hotel is beautiful and very well kept. Their rooftop bar and restaurant offers beautiful city scape views making it a relaxing place to have a drink after a long day. What stood out about my experience was the customer service from the ground floor staff especially. Mya and Lucie helped make our stay so convenient and put our mind at ease. They helped arrange private car rides and reservations for us, which was so appreciated during a short 2-day trip. The bellboys were so friendly and kind. 11/10 customer service experience!

Great stay even greater staff.

Lucie by herself has earned a 10/10 with her level of customer service. She offered trip excision ideas and options. Food recommendations and even walked me to view a couple of room options before I chose one. The rooms are nice and modern on par with the bigger brands found in Marriott. All of the staff were super kind and welcoming. I’ll definitely come back I visit Da Nang.

Check in was a breeze and the hotel staff like Mya and Rose are super friendly and provided very clear information. Mya helped to book the transport for us to Ba Na Hills and even waited by the car and provided a bottle of water for each of us. She was always available to help when we needed it. Rose was another gem of the hotel. She provided us lots of info on where to visit and eat and guided us to the various types of coffee in Da Nang like coconut coffee and egg coffee which is available only at cafes (no instant coffee). She also gave us a photo of her father’s swear-by coffee which turned out to be 1 of the most the popular brands of coffee produced in Vietnam land it was really good. We were so impressed that all the counter staff were friendly and speak very clear English and the doorman was also very helpful. Tje rooms are clean and relatively spacious except that we got a low floor which overlooks the swimming pool so it gets noisy on weekends when the hotel is more crowded. Breakfast spread is very good too. The location of the hotel is very central and usually takes less than 10 mins by taxi to go anywhere except for faraway attractions like BaNa Hills and marble mountains. We use grab. I will definitely stay here again if I visit Da Nang.

Me and my brother stayed at the hotel for 4 nights. We enjoy the service they provided to us and the kindness of the staff towards the guests are just exceptional. I would like to highlight a staff member (Rose) who helped us with the process with everything including transport to and from the airport. I would highly recommend this hotel to others and I would encourage everyone to try this hotel.

What a great team at the New Orient.

The staff at NOH was so caring and attentive it made our stay. The extra attention to detail really was the cherry on top. Would recommend! Mya even gave us great recommendations for our next stop on our adventure. Top notch.
