Buyer Beware. This property was not accurately represented in the listing, and our experience raised significant comfort and privacy concerns.While the home appeared generally clean at first glance, the refrigerator was completely full of food, and the pantry and cabinets contained numerous opened and partially used food items. There was also a fully stocked liquor bar in the living room containing opened bottles and beverages. Combined with the number of personal belongings throughout the property, the home did not feel like a dedicated vacation rental prepared for incoming guests.It appeared that the home may have been actively occupied by the owner and temporarily rented out, which was not disclosed in the listing.The listing advertised 4 bedrooms with accommodations including 2 queen beds, 1 king bed, and 1 futon. However, there was no futon. Instead, the âfourth bedroomâ contained only two mismatched sofa pieces presented as a sleeping arrangement. After we raised the issue, the owner arranged for a bare mattress â without a frame or box spring â to be delivered and placed on the living room floor. As a result, one guest had to sleep on a mattress on the floor in the living room.There were also many personal items throughout the home, including closets containing belongings, partially used lotions, and partially used soap in the master bathroom shower.Most concerning was a box for security/surveillance cameras located in the âofficeâ bedroom.
