Surprisingly Perfect

The room was very clean and comfortable. The front desk staff was very nice. I appreciated the selection of snacks and drinks available for purchase. The hotel overall felt new and welcoming. For an overnight business trip, this was an excellent stay.

Clean and friendly but a lot of noise at night

This is a nice hotel and the breakfast is great with lots of variety. The bed and pillows are comfortable. It was difficult to sleep however because the walls aren’t well insulated and you can hear everyone around you. The hotel is located just off the freeway so the street noise is also pretty loud.

I was 100% cheated from what I started out with. I was looking at a property that was a Hilton Garden Inn that I've stayed up before and really enjoyed. And when I went on into the experience, I was subtly switched to a property called Tru by Hilton. Why I didn't catch it I don't know, but I got ripped off completely. This is not the experience I wanted. This is not the hotel I wanted and I'm really upset if I could sue somebody over it I would.

Disappointed. Very unclean. 1st room: toilet didn’t work AT ALL. Got there late & had to leave for work by 6:30a the next day, so having to completely repack bags, move bags to a different room & unpack again due to non-working toilet sucked. No apology- they almost seemed inconvenienced to have to change my room. 2nd room: multiple hairs in shower & on counter, crumbs all in bed frame, terrible musty smoke smell in room, and STRONG marijuana & smoke smell all in hall, elevators, and right outside hotel door (where they let guests smoke directly in front of doors to lobby). Also is right in front of WalMart & right off highway, so not great location. Hall carpets are also horribly stained & gross. Just not good at all- shocked by these good reviews. I’ve recently stayed at 2 other hotels (Marriott & Drury) in area that knocked my stay out of the park & were SO clean. This was NOT.

So so experience

The Tru hotel has always been very good. But the shower heads and water pressure are terrible. All the staff were very friendly and helpful except the desk person on Sat night. He didn’t greet anyone, kept his head in the computer or phone. The hot water for tea was cold and he didn’t do anything to correct it help anyone.
