We had an amazing stay at this lake house! The house and property were as beautiful as the pictures suggest. We had a group of 10 and everyone slept comfortably. There was also plenty of extra bedding and bath towels to use, which was really helpful with a group our size. The property is located in a great area of the lake — there was not any heavy boat traffic, so it was perfect for playing in the lake and fishing. Having a couple kayaks for use was also a major plus!Daniel was very communicative and responsive with any questions or concerns, which was greatly appreciated. We truly enjoyed our time here and would love to stay here again if we’re back in the area!

Great getaway!

We really enjoyed our stay! Location on the lake was great and tucked far enough back in a cove where the water was calm around the dock. Cove was plenty deep and accessible for our 24ft wake boat. The home itself was very nice and perfect for what we needed. 4 adults 2 kids. Would certainly stay here again!

Absolute perfection!!

Spring break from school for our son and wanted to getaway
with the boat! Pull right up to front door and plenty of parking for his truck and boat in separate driveway. This homes layout is perfect, decorated beautifully, and CLEAN! Kitchen stocked with anything you could possibly need! I personally loved the deck where I stayed when we were not out and about or hub and son were out on the boat! Plenty of seating, grill, and a nice clean jacuzzi!! Having visited early in the spring, the lake was not quite yet far enough up in the cove, which we knew beforehand, but it was just a 10 minute drive to a beautiful boat ramp and pier. Home has its own boat dock and can’t wait til we return to enjoy! The owners are amazing folks, contacted me within minutes of arriving simply to ensure there were no issues checking in. They checked on us regularly to ensure nothing was needed. This property is located within a really nice quiet community! You won’t be disappointed! Highly recommend! I am already looking to book again this summer!! Many thanks for a memorable trip!!

Great Host and Nice Stay!

Daniel our host was amazing! He was very helpful and communicative before and during the entire process! The house was clean and very cute, and stocked with most everything we needed! It was a bit smaller than it seems in the photo but it met our needs for 7 women for the weekend! I will say the only thing really missing for us was that there is only one actual shower in the home. We knew this ahead of time, but one bathroom has only an open bathtub with a shower head but we found it not useable. We were also disappointed at how low the lake was and that it was definitely not swimmable in this area but that is no control of the owners, apparently that is normal during this time of year. Overall we really enjoyed our weekend getaway and the access to Douglas Lake and the Smoky Mountains. I would recommend this cabin to anyone looking to stay in the area and I bet it is even more awesome during the summer!

Christmas Getaway 2024

The house was super clean when we arrived. Checking in was super easy, the owner was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay. My daughter forgot her Apple Watch and he was so kind to mail it back to us in a timely manner. Highly recommend this home if you’re looking for a nice place to stay in this area.

Perfect!

Let me just say this - my family never stays in the same place twice. We like to travel and explore and see new things, but after this vacation, everyone spent the ride home campaigning for two vacations next year - one new place and one back here! We’re not easy to please - everyone wants something different and Daniel and his property and its location delivered. My youngest could safely swim, my teens could fish and kayak, my parents were comfortable, and we could all go and explore - or not
 And I - who never gets the all-inclusive hotel and spa stay that I actually want - got to stay in a gorgeous house that rivals some of my favorite boutique hotels. And that bathtub! And to top it all off, Daniel was warm and responsive - the best host we’ve dealt with. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (My teen asked that I add this caveat - apparently, southern fish don’t like the heat, either. If you’re going to fish, don’t do it in July

Better than description

This place is awesome. If you’re bargain hunting for a place to stay? Do yourself a favor and give Daniel a few extra bucks a night especially if you are bringing a boat. Dock was great for a pontoon and jet ski. Put a couple bumpers out and zero dock rash. Boat ramp is really close. It looks a little sketchy but we had no issues. Fishing was really good right at the dock. Tons of bass, drum, and catfish. While you’re there if you see coach out, say hi. He lives across the road. Super good guy, helpful, and seems to like meeting and talking to new people. We have zero complaints and plan to book again soon.

Highly Recommend

We loved our stay! Location was great and the property manager/owner was very helpful and informative. Anytime that we had a question, he answered quickly. The place was very cute and updated. Location by the lake was easy and had its own dock. Plenty of space for 10 people. The travel to Pigeon Forge was not too far from this location so there was plenty to do. My son enjoyed the ability to fish on kayaks. I would defiantly recommend this property to anyone.

Spring Break on Douglas Lake

We loved our stay in this amazing house on Douglas Lake. It is newly renovated. It looks just like the pictures. The decor was so cute and had a wonderful lake vibe. Everything was super clean. The beds were new and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking at this home away from home. The deck, grill and hot tub were also new. There is plenty of parking if you want to bring a boat (which we did). The lake was still pretty low during the time of year we stayed so we couldn't put our boat in at the house but Swann's Marina was very close and the people there were super friendly and helpful. The property owner Daniel was also very friendly and gave us suggestions on what to do in the area. I would definitely rent this property again!!
