Good position in Dartmouth. Very helpful lady from Falmouth on the Bar but not enough staff at breakfast.
May be noisy in the summer but very convenient for town, restaurants and shops. Good to see they have Jazz entertainment on occasions.
Nice B&B in a good location. Unfortunately room #6 on top floor overlooks pubs on the opposite side of the street and there were significant noise to disturb sleeping
A somewhat indifferent attitude on arrival. Poor info on parking vouchers. Breakfast staff on Sunday morning could have been more helpful.
Breakfasts generally good although not on Sunday morning when staff seemed unprepared.
The hotel was OK a bit tired. What shocked me was the staff member that checked us in and served us for breakfast ( may well have been a family member)) was far from friendly almost surly. At breakfast which sounds a bit petty but I simply asked for some hot milk for my coffee and she refused. I then asked again and said could she not simply heat up the cold milk in the small glass bottle the milk came in. She just said I canât do that. For goodness sake even premier inns would heat some milk up for you. This was not a cheap hotel.
A lovely hotel, close to the town centre. There was on-road parking directly outside, allowing two hours and overnight. We ate in the hotel, and the breakfast was excellent; the evening meal was not cheap - but this is Dartmouth! A nice room (no lift) with a view across the street, although the wallpaper was a little disconcerting! The only problem was that we had forgotten that we had paid Hotels.com for the stay, and were charged again on site - an error that was quickly resolved when it was pointed out, a few days later.
Charming and helpful couple who kindly sprang into action to arrange an emergency plumber when the radiator fell off the wall in our room. Very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Thank you.
