The property was located in a beautiful surrounds and was private and quiet. Recommend if you are looking for a quiet relaxing retreat while on your holidays.
We couldnt have been happier with our choice of accommodation.
When we arrived the kids were over joyed to find a big bag of mega block and a few books.
The lovely host had even provided milk, eggs, bread and butter.
Not to mention a decent codfee machine.
Our son had a few accidents and our host was more then accommodating with providing clean bedding as well as some great local knowlegde.
If we ever venture back to Darwin this will be top of our list on places to stay.
The hosts were very helpful and friendly and the accommodation was well appointed and modern. Easy access to laundry facilities would have made it perfect
A very clean, fresh and well appointed cottage with a wide, fully furnished verandah surrounded by a lovely tropical garden. Owners made an effort to welcome us, providing basic provisions including home grown eggs and good pod coffee. Nice and quiet too. Highly recommended if you have a car.
We loved our stay - spotlessly clean and very well stocked with everything you could need - well stocked kitchen including a Nespresso machine with pods, tea/coffee/sugar and condiments such as jam and vegemite, plenty of kitchen supplies including rubbish bags, basic toiletries, plenty of toilet rolls and Rhea had also provided eggs, bread, butter and milk which was very welcome the next morning!
The property is secure and private - lovely gardens with nearby sheep and chickens. Beautiful verandah with insect repellent (we didn't have any problems with mozzies), plenty of places to sit and relax.
There are two bedrooms - they both have entries off the verandah and the main bedroom has another entry via the bathroom. The second bedroom only has a door off the verandah, no internal door - families with small children might want to consider this if their kids wander in the night.
Location wise, it's in Howard Springs which is 25 minutes drive from Darwin CBD. We went to Berry Springs for a swim one day and it was worth the 20 odd minute drive.
