Overall, this house was very nice and spacious. It has a beautiful beach/ocean view. Very family friendly. The house was overall fairly clean, aside from some mold around the vents in each of the bathrooms. The hot tub didn't work when we got there (which we were unaware of), but they did get it fixed while we were there. The amenities listed spices, but all that was there was salt and pepper and those were difficult to find. The wi-fi was very spotty and often didn't work. While we didn't use the tvs often, we did use them for some downtime in the evenings for the kids.

Our first Family Beach Trip was a great success thanks to the ease and accessibility of the Doctor’s Orders. It is perfect for families, especially with young children. Of the 29 VRBOs we’ve stayed in around the globe; this one, by far, was the most well appointed. Family Tradition

This was our 3rd time to Dauphin Island with our 2 daughters their husbands and children. Our first time to this property and we were not disappointed in anyway. The location, beach space, abundance of beach toys made it great for the 5 grandsons. The kitchen is well staffed and the house with plenty of bedrooms for all to spread out. The deck and furniture were a great place to spend time when not on the beach. The hot tub was a big plus as well. The property was everything we needed so we booked it again before we left!

Perfect

The house was very clean other than a moldy shower curtain upon arrival. The layout was perfect for our 4-family group and the deck is the best we have seen with the nicest deck furniture ever. The beach was private and there is plenty of room to spread out without neighbors encroaching. We enjoyed the waves, dolphins from the deck, watching the neighboring fishermen reel in catches, and crab hunting at night. The only negative was communication with Vacasa. It is not the same as communicating with an owner and many times if felt like my questions or concerns were being fielded by a call center or by AI. It did not seem like they had any personal knowledge about the house or area. Even with this, we would definitely book this house again!

We had a wonderful time there with our teenage children, young adult children, and our parents(the grand parents) we had plenty of room! It was clean and well stocked with anything you need in the kitchen. I would 100% go back!

Perfect location.

The house was great for a large family gathering! Plenty of rooms and beds! House was clean and organized. Very close to the beach. We were able to see dolphins everyday! Easy to watch kids play on the beach from deck. They also have a ton of kids toys- we appreciated that very much! The hot tub was a lifesaver on colder windy days. -When we got there the hot tub was filthy. Not the sand, but head rests broken, a smell, and not clear water. We messaged team and a guy came that same day to empty it and clean! Very responsive. It didn’t have a cover only a tarp which we couldn’t get to stay on with 30-40mph winds. -The deck was in terrible condition. If you don’t wear shoes every single step, you will get a sliver. I stepped on a rusty nail that was up on the stairs. It needs to be replaced or resurfaced at least. -there is absolutely no cleaning supplies. Nothing to sweep, wipe down counters or clean up spills. - bring extra paper supplies and soap for washer/ dish washer. - when we got there, there was food left by previous tenants all over, under the house. Pickle jars. Potatoes. onions. Beer cans. -finally there was a flood warning with an upcoming storm. We heard from a neighbor that we were to move our cars to a different location. I had to message the company multiple times to get a response to see where to move and if we had to move or if it was further west. I got a response 12 hours after the mayor had posted on Facebook to move your cars.

WI/TN Family Gathering

This was our second trip to Dauphin Island. The beach house was amazing and suited our needs perfectly. Each bedroom pretty much had a bathroom of its own. The fifth bedroom had many toys and tv which was perfect for our little ones to play in when not on the beach. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need including two refrigerators (one with water and ice machine), a panini maker, waffle makers, and many dishes for little ones. In the laundry room, there were extra beach towels, an extra freezer, high chair, and like new washer and dryer. The living room and dining room had plenty of seating for our whole group. The outside furniture was very high quality and included many different options: rocking chairs, lounge chairs, tables, and foot rests. The hot tub was an added bonus as our weather wasn’t fabulous every day. It was great to have an outside shower to wash off the sand before going inside. The property also had an abundance of outside/sand toys as well. There was ample parking for 3-4 vehicles. There was a cargo elevator, put it was locked and no key could be found. This would have been nice to use to carry our belongings in and out. We would definitely rent this home again.

Cockroach Infestation

We rent homes on Dauphin Island a couple times a year and this property could have been one of the best in terms of location, size, and amenities. However, the house has a severe roach infestation. Not just a few random bugs; they were crawling across the floors and up the walls, they were in the cabinets and drawers. We had to rewash everything in the kitchen for each use. We rented via VRBO, but all communication afterwards was through Vacasa and it is not a great combination. My husband and I contacted Vacasa multiple times regarding the roach problem and all we got were auto AI responses. We were told that a property manager would reach out to us, but this never happened. All we wanted was someone to come spray and clean out cabinets, drawers, and closets. What could have been the best vacation was overshadowed by the bugs and complete lack of customer service.

Just What the Doctor Ordered!

It was a fantastic location, the house was beautiful and just as pictured. Fully stocked kitchen, with every dish and gadget you might need. Plenty of everything for a large group. Even dishes for the little ones! They provided a small amount of dish soap and dishwasher detergent. Some reviews said there were spices stocked. Ours were NOT, so be prepared to bring your own or buy some. There was also a mop and a broom, but no cleaning solutions, so I recommend buying some. You'll get a starter supply of toilet paper and paper towels, but you'll need to buy some if you stay longer than a couple of days. It was wonderful to be able to just walk right down to the beach from the house. Soft, clean sand, and the water was great! They are installing an outdoor shower, so future renters can look forward to that! They provided beach toys for the kids, and the hot tub was great. The grill worked well, and the outdoor furniture was perfect. The beds are on the firm side, but not at all uncomfortable. There are extra linens and tons of towels provided. The extra fridge and freezer space was a surprise bonus! Overall it was a fantastic stay, and I would most definitely visit again. Dauphin Island is a gem!

Great Tennis Trip at the Beach

It was a great house for us to rent, the house had so much room and lots of kitchenware and fridge space. The hot tub was nice to have on a chilly night. When we got there it was dark and we drove a little too far under the house, we got stuck in the sand but Vacasa was kind enough to pull us out. The porch had lots of really nice chairs to sit in or lounge in. Overall great place!!

Best ever!

My family and friends have been spending a week at the beach for the last six years! This house is set up perfectly for our family.. Plenty of room, kitchen is fully stocked with any appliance. We were blown away by the deck and very nice deck furniture! This house is what our family has everything my family has been looking for! Quiet and we had the beachfront view. Toys were there for my grandkids. Making reservations for next trip! Definitely be back’

Great Place as Advertised

Great place for surf fishing and/or easy beach access. Includes some nice amenities that you don't always think of including an extremely well stocked Kitchen (e.g., cast iron skillets, frying equipment, cookie sheets galore, etc...), Weber five burner propane grill on deck, back-up propane tanks, three large refrigerator/freezers and one small freezer chest. Hot tub worked perfectly while we were there and was used much more than I expected.

This beach house is perfect

We had the best time playing at the beach right down from the deck. Older family members got to watch the kids play from the comfort of the deck. The house was very nice and clean. This was our 1st time going to dauphin island and it was awesome. Not overcrowded and very family oriented. There are a few suggestions I have for this home: better softer sheets, comfier beds and the rug in the living room slid very easily and almost caused some falls for grandparents. Would recommend and will stay again.

Amazing beach house

We absolutely loved our stay. The location was absolutely perfect. We were able to hang out in the beach everyday with no other people around us. The house was perfect for a big group. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. We all loved it! The kitchen was also very well equipped for any type of meal! Would 10 out of 10 recommend!
