Really cute place for my last minute stay. Wasn’t as clean as I would have expected, but I also didn’t feel the need to reach out. Also, the walls are SUPER thin, so if there are renters staying on the floor above you, you will hear EVERYTHING. Still a really convenient, nice stay on Dauphin Island.

Location was alright much longer walk to the beach than expected and I walk quickly and my dog is young. First thing I noticed was windows were very dirty left over morning cereal left on the kitchen floor and the settee had some smal stains on it. I decided to leave the next day instead of staying my full 5 days.

I’ve stayed here before. Easy stay and close to everything: food, beach, shopping, ferry. My only complaint which is trivial as it is July in Alabama is that it was too hot our first night in the bedroom. However, found a fan in a closet and much better the next night!

My daughter and her friends went for their senior trip. The condo seems very upkept in the photos but that was misleading. They found several roaches everywhere in the condo. I have reached out to owners and vrbo with no response. We will not be staying here again.

Disappointed

The biggest issue was the noise in the bunk bed room. We could not sleep in there and had to sleep on the couch. There was a stale/wet blanket smell throughout the whole place. An air freshener situation of some sort would go a long way. The remote was under the bed in the middle and we could not reach it so that bedroom was also not “as expected”. There is also trash under the bed and a vase in the corner covering a gigantic roach. Not the experience we were hoping for unfortunately

May Beach Vacation

Check in was exactly at 3 pm. But you are literally 2 blocks from the ocean and waiting should never be a boring issue. Apartment was very bright and clean. Nice sitting area out back. Very quiet neighborhood. I did try to take a nap after driving 11 hours but when I turned the bed back the sheets were very damp. Clean but too damp to lay on. The bathroom has no storage and is very small. Would be hard to manage with kids. No dishwasher but I don’t have one at home either. We would definitely stay here again. The price was get.

Baby shower rental

Two of my sons and myself came down for my daughter's baby shower. We loved the rental unit. It was very clean, organized, and supplied. I plan on coming back down for a week in April with my wife and staying. We both love Dauphin Island.

Cute Island Stay!

For the price this place was incredible! Host communicated perfectly, the place is modernized and fresh, and the street is quiet. The master bed was too soft and unsupportive for our middle aged backs, though for the price we can’t complain we just want others to know what they’re getting!great trip!!

Me and my wife had unit 2 little but nice, but I will not get down stairs again we had a couple with kids and for the last 3 days we were there, they started running and jumping off the furniture around 7pm to 10pm and it was very loud and annoying, there is no sound barrier whatsoever, that is the only downside of the stay, but even without the kids you can still here every footsteps from the adults,

Great place to go with kids and dog!

Easy check in.. place was clean. Daughter loved bunk bed. Dog loved the beach - but stay on path or beach as prickly seed heads in the grass! Beach is great for bird watching and nature.. empty in January! Kids bedroom door does not shut properly otherwise all in working order. Would have been nice to find some coffee - be sure to bring your own! Lovely to read on back porch in morning. Walking distance to beach 5 mins and play area 8 mins. Pirates bar and grill is excellent local restaurant also walking distance @15 mins. Enjoyed day trips to aquarium and audobon bird sanctuary.

Our stay was good. It would have been great except for two things
I am sensitive to smells and the air fresheners used were very overpowering and caused a headache. The second was the incredibly loud people staying above us — I don’t know what they were doing, but it sounded like they were jumping off furniture and crashing, all after midnight for at least an hour. Overall, if the air freshener went away, we would definitely books again. Very clean and just what we needed when vacationing with our dog!

We loved the condo and all the updates made to the place. Neighbors are great and the street is centrally located next to everything. Rent a Golf cart and cruise the island, this is a must! We loved your home!

First time

This was our first time to Dauphin Island, Shane's place is very nice he has everything you need. My kids had fun on the golf cart rentals, thank you Shane for everything.
