Beat up Hotel in a great location!

This place is beat up. It's cheap, and it's on the beach, but they need renovations badly! The good news is it looked like they are slowly renovating.

This property is definitely you get what you pay for. The heat didn’t work and they did come 24 hours later and fixed it which then only worked a short time again. No housekeeping for a 6 day stay at all! We asked for our room to be tidy and fresh towels but nothing. We had to go to desk for towels and toilet paper. Staff was super friendly but property is definitely “older”. It was relatively clean and had hot water. The ocean view was beautiful.we could hear everything from walking in the hallways and upstairs so walls are very thin. It seems to be in a safe neighborhood but not many restaurants close. I will not be staying at this property next year when we return for our college competition. It is definitely a bargain hotel.

This motel needs a lot if work. Bathroom sink needs a new facet, air conditioning could need some help, and sandy in the counter of the room. I would not go back. The view to the water was great.

The place was filthy, door didn't lock, employees were very rude,no tv couldn't get in on time,sheets were filthy,burn holes on bed cover hair dryer didn't work,no water pressure,nothing like the photo. Very disappointed.....I would appreciate my money back

Immediately upon entering the room we smelled mold. Then we found the mold on the bathroom ceiling, and the ceiling itself was cracked and falling down. The microwave was filthy, like they havent cleaned it in months. Same with the oven. There was no hot water at all. The elevator was 2 years expired on its checks. I have the pictures to prove it.

I liked that it was beachfront. However, the elevator did not work and we were on the 4th floor. And the person below us was constantly smoking marijuana on the balcony and I told the front desk person multiple times. They said that they don't allow smoking, but they would not, to my knowledge, tell the person to stop smoking. The smoke would waft up into our room.

motel lookz good from outside, however it needs some maintainence work inside. floors were dusty (dirty socks from walking from bed to bathroom, clock radio broken, did not work, had to use cell phone to contact front desk when power went out at 10pm(our room and two others) (front desk did ask if we would like to move to lower floor for the night-we declined-power back on at 3am. Elevator not working in Am (we are senior citizens with walkers) walked down four flights of steps, finally fixed by 11Pm when we got back to motel. Room was big and beds comfy.

Pleasantly surprised for the bargain I got! The water tastes a little bit old but generally the rooms are old but clean, having a balcony for the oceanfront is great. Best deal you can probably get for an oceanfront stay at Daytona.
