There was thick brown seaweed on the beach … someone could clean it up a bit for a better view…. I don’t think my balcony door opened… but it was fine, it was only a one night stay … the actual room was very nice

I originally booked a 4-day, 3-night reservation via Expedia for guests visiting from out of state. As a local, I chose this hotel expecting a clean and comfortable stay for them — but what we experienced was the complete opposite. Upon check-in, we immediately noticed roaches in the room. Within minutes, we went back downstairs to inform the front desk that we would not be staying in a room with unsanitary and unsafe conditions. The staff acknowledged the issue but offered no alternative solution. Expedia contacted the hotel management on my behalf, but management refused to issue a full refund — even though the room was never occupied due to the infestation of German roaches. In the end, the hotel only credited me back $76, which is completely unacceptable given the circumstances. As a local, I was embarrassed and disappointed to have recommended this place to my guests. I would strongly advise others to avoid booking this hotel until they address their cleanliness issues and poor customer service.

Wonderful to have an ocean view from our room. Loved the balcony. Room upgraded, eco-friendly was surfaces easily cleanable. King size bed. Shower. Friendly, efficient staff, especially Victor and Winsome. Microwave and refrigerator.. Limited breakfast with an amazing machine for various coffees, hot, chocolate, and chai tea. Free parking. Elevator. Our third stay and we’ll definitely come another time.

Absolutely horrible. The first room that we went into had a cockroach in it, a big hole in the door, a hole in the wall that was patched up poorly , The hanger is in the closet as well as the rack recovered and rust. There was a breaker box in the room covered in rust as well. The breakfast is horrible, it consisted of a carton of orange juice, some horrible muffins and some yogurt. The rooms had a moldy smell. The desk that the TV was on top of was rotting and the bed sheets have stains on them. We were then moved into a second room which was a little better except for the bed was wet and when we lifted up the sheets the mattress had disgusting mold on it. We were then taken into a third room which was a little better but had rust all over the lamp, and the door hinges, the bathtub was not completely clean. It also had a moldy smell. We will not be returning. The only good thing was the beach was super close. By the way the jacuzzi was also broken and nobody was getting into the pool because it looked filthy. Horrible experience!

View from 3rd floor was awesome, no exterior lights around pool, at least 4-5 exterior lights in and around parking lot not working, underwater pool light never worked properly (always flickering like strobe light), cleaning ladies were awesome, coffee machine for free continental breakfast was broken for 2 mornings, no handle on foot clean off after coming from the beach( shower head only).trash and construction debris stuffed in corner on parking lot.(been there for a while, not recent).
