The hotel was clean and had a good location. A major problem was the power went out in my parents' building for 10 hours and the hotel did not have a generator or backup plan, even though we hear that it is a regular occurrence in Death Valley.

Room was clean and staff was helpful. Restaurant on site with great food. The only reason I would not stay there again is how thin the walls are. You hear everything in the surrounding rooms. Even people talking at low levels, you’ll hear the entire conversation in your room.

The room was great. All of the staff at the hotel checkin, general store, saloon, and restaurant were nice. We went to the other resorts in the park just to see what they were like and this is definitely the nicest one that actually feels like you’re still in nature. The view out the window was gorgeous. We star gazed in the parking lot for awhile our first night. The breakfast is $15 per person per day, so I’m not sure why this review asked how I liked the free breakfast. Overall a good experience though. Would absolutely stay here again.

This was a perfect spot to stay in Death Valley NP. The location was in the middle of the park. The hotel had a saloon, restaurant, general store, gift shop, and a year round pool. The rooms were spacious and clean. The room came with the typical bathroom supplies, hair dryer, and refrigerator. This location was perfect for catching the sunrise at Mesquite flats just a 2 min drive away.

This hotel is about 30 miles inside the park. The hotel was built in 1925. It has been remodeled, but in keeping with the construction of that era, the rooms are small and the walls are thin. That said, it is comfortable and clean. There is a gas station and general store and campground across the street. There is also a restaurant on site with friendly waiters, and delicious food is served.

Great place, conveniently located right in the middle of the park, breakfast and dinner all there, all you have to do is drive around and experience the beautiful Death Valley.
