Beautiful house with a beautiful view. We were surprised there was no air conditioning in the house at all. When we arrived it was over 80 degrees in the house (early February) and it took a while to cool down after we opened the doors. We were also disappointed there was no ice, salt, or pepper in the house so we had to go back to the store.

This home was very comfortable and worked perfectly for our family reunion. The living room area and kitchen/dining area was spacious. The kitchen was fully stocked to cook our meals. The deck had chairs and a large table to spend time outdoors with a beautiful view. The beach was a nice 1 mile walk down the hill. We would love to stay at this home again.

Beautiful and relaxing stay!

Our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home with an amazing view of the ocean! The layout of the home fit our crew perfectly and the location was perfection, walking distance to restaurants and an adorable coffee shop! Really loved walking the neighborhood as well, going to the beach and hiking! Highly recommend this home!

Torrey Pines birthday trip.

Three friends and I had a short golf vacation and played both courses at Torrey Pines in La Jolla. House is in a very high end neighborhood and is about 10 minutes from the course. Great trip!!

All was well

Most everything fine. Suggest you add needing a pan on stove before turning on. Could not get island garbage disposal to work. Would recommend property to others and likely use again if we return. Our stay focused around golfing at Torrey Pines. Thank you for your hospitality.

Beautiful property with great views of the ocean.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay here. It’s in a relatively quiet neighborhood with a few nice restaurants nearby. The views of the ocean from all three levels was great. The home was very comfortable and spacious.

Perfect property for a large group!

Look no further for a home that easily accommodates 8 adults. This is it! All bedrooms are spacious with ample bathrooms. The kitchen, dining and family rooms open onto a large balcony providing beautiful ocean views. This tri-level property offers every amenity you need to make your vacation the BEST! Just a short drive to Del Mar, Torrey Pines and beaches.

Excellent Stay

Via Grimaldi was perfect for our family group in San Diego for our daughter’s college graduation. The location is great. Near the campus, Torrey Pines beach, and downtown Del Mar. The house was clean and spacious. Plenty of room to spread out, and a great kitchen and family room to gather and hang out together as well. There were no problems, but Evan was checking in periodically to make sure everything was ok anyway. Would definitely stay here again.

A house and a view to die for

This house was absolutely amazing. It was very clean, very well laid out for a group of people to stay at the house. I brought my team in from all over the US to visit our San Diego office and this house was perfect for our needs. We even grilled out on the final night on the patio and looked out over the ocean.

Wouldn’t suggest If you want a premium experience. Not worth the money.

We paid a lot for this home- because we needed and expected it to be a premium property and experience. It wasn’t that. The garage didn’t work so we had to go around to the back of the unit every time to get in and then run and hop over the lazer in garage every time we left. The stove top wasn’t working so we lost out on a few hundred dollars worth of groceries that we wanted to cook. One of the windows upstairs doesn’t close correctly so it was freezing inside the home at night. None of us slept well because of this due to our 2yr old having to sleep in bed under the covers with us to keep warm
 she got a fever a few days later. There was only one shower with good water pressure. There was cobwebs in a lot of corners and basically every window sill. The chairs outside weren’t put together. I brought all of this up to host and kindly asked for just one night to be refunded- he refused and said he would only refund $150!! That didn’t even cover our groceries.. and wasn’t even what we paid for the “convenience fee”. I asked another 2 times and brought up that we didn’t even sleep because it was so cold and we couldn’t use the stovetop- 2 of the reasons why we booked the place. He didn’t care. I even contacted VRBO support- but if you don’t know, they are terrible and said it’s only up to the host. Will absolutely not recommend. People pay this high price for a premium experience.. that’s NOT what you will get with this home. Nor will you get an understanding host with common decency for people being uncomfortable and not having things that the listing claimed to provide.

Pretty good

The view is very nice, but the patio furniture seemed a bit dirty. Overall, the house was pretty clean. The beds are quite comfortable which is really important and kind of rare for me to find. The finishes are very nice, though a bit worn in some areas. The two main bedrooms upstairs are connected with a pocket door. That worked well for us because our little kids slept in the other room, but if it was another couple, that might have been awkward. The king bedroom upstairs is very bright in the morning, I’m glad I brought a sleeping mask. The couches and a few areas of the carpet are stained. Kitchen well stocked, though some pieces of silverware were a bit dirty. The water for the nice bathtub upstairs won’t get very warm even though the other shower does fine. The shower sprayer holder in other large bathroom is broken. The blinds wouldn’t open in king bedroom upstairs (remote not working) so we missed out on that view. The screens are quite dirty and they are on the inside of the window so that’s not great. The induction cooktop needs instructions nearby. My husband is super handy and we still had to Google instructions and it also didn’t seem to work fully on the large back burner. The spiral stairs might be difficult for elderly and young children and everyone has to use them to get from the entry level on the top level down to the kitchen and living level. So that’s something to consider. Parking with a large van was possible but a little tricky.

Amazing location and home

This house was absolutely perfect for our family! We were visiting SD for Thanksgiving. The kitchen was fully stocked with tons of dishes and cooking necessities. The view from the porch was spectacular! Mimosas in the morning and a cocktail while watching the sunset was Devine! We will 110% be back and recommend this house to anyone visiting!
