Couldn’t find reservation. Blamed everything on a 55 room reservation by a large company. Found us a room but it was dirty and the bed had been slept in. Clerk said she’d clean it for us after she finished her cigarette. Requested a refund and found a room elsewhere.

I stayed one night and it was the worst night of my life! There was only one light in my room that worked then someone came into my room after 1:00am! With a key!!! They double booked my room. It was scary and my couldn’t sleep. The person working assured the hotels.com that the GM would return my money! THEY DID NOT!!!! I slept 2 hours. I am disgusted with the GM at Woodspring!! Do not stay there!!!!

Worst hotel in Denton.. Dont book

This hotel is an absolute scam, and I’m furious about their shady practices! I booked a room through what I later realized was a fraudulent third-party site. As soon as I noticed the issue—literally within 10 minutes of the booking—I contacted the hotel directly to cancel and request a refund. Despite explaining the situation and providing proof of the scam, they flat-out refused to refund me, claiming their “policy” doesn’t allow cancellations, even for fraudulent bookings!

Roach Fest(ival)

"Roach Haven" - Scheduled for 3 nights at Woodspring-Denton. Saw a roach day one & reported it to front desk (clerk said she'd tell the manager). I asked if they had any spray and was told no. This didn't seem logical to me if you know, you have roaches. A few more roaches began to show themselves. Day two, spoke to the mgr that morning to confirm the incident at which time he logged it in a book and indicated pest control would be out that day. I asked a different clerk for some insect spray ... she gave me a can of spray (hmmm ... very odd since I was told they didn't have any the day before). I sprayed the room. Pest control didn't make it out until the next morning at 8:20. They sprayed and the roach fest(ival) was on ... as the insecticide drove more of them out of hiding. This made for an edgy time ... the pinnacle of which was when a roach crawled on one of us that night as we were sleeping. Shaking my head. Throwing up my hands.

Roaches in the room I had, which made it hard to try and sleep when it stormed the rain was pouring through the window into the AC unit dogs shouldn’t be allowed due to the excessive barking and dog hair pushed into the corners of room…. And someone knocking on the door in the middle of the morning is very unnecessary especially when you’re sleeping that pissed me off!!!! Outdated everything, only thing that was decent and clean was the laundry room…. The mattress was horrible I woke up with bad back pain…… There’s your review
