Lovely pool and garden retreat!

The bed at this hotel was better than at the pricier Gaylord nearby, and the free breakfast was an unexpected perk - but the pool house made me wish we could stay longer! Separate sky lighted building across from a nature area and internal garden area, just lovely! Hot tub out of order but it didn’t matter, pool was warm enough.

Picturs of the rooms are out dated or not wven the correct ones. We stayed in a room that supposedly slept 5 but only had a king bed, both of my teens had to sleep on the floor. No accommodation were given. Our main entrance door from room 301 did not close. You had to make sure to close it just the right way. The bathroom doors only one latched and the other one didn't. On expedia and on the hotels main site the picture show 2 door diver between rooms. When you get there there is no diver just a glass wall with no door.

Not likely to return to this hotel

I appreciated the friendliness of the front staff. However, I was told there was a QR code in the room for parking and there wasn’t - it was very frustrating to have to go back down to the lobby to pay for parking when I was exhausted from traveling and had been told the code was in the room. Also, my credit card was not returned to me.I had to go back down to the lobby for that as well, only to realize it had been left where anyone could have taken it and the front desk staff was no longer manning the desk. The hotel was obviously older, which is fine, but you could see where handles had been torn from the wall and other signs of neglect. I could smell marijuana while walking down the hallway. I was worried that the hotel wasn’t a safe place for me and my children.

We booked a room for 5, but were allocated one with single King bed. This was apparently our fault we should have contacted them to ask for more beds?! Not even sure that have any rooms that sleep 5. We left and stayed in another hotel.
