DO NOT STAY HERE - Nightmare Experience!
Weâve used VRBO for years and never had such a nightmare. This is a basement unit with no access to heat or AC controls â we were told the company controls it remotely and to text if we were too cold or too hot. It was freezing when we arrived, and we had no way to fix it ourselves. We were also told we could not use any backyard amenities or sit on the outdoor furniture, which was never disclosed in the listing. The noise from upstairs was unbearable â screaming kids and yelling parents all night and day. We got no sleep and had no peace. The unit was infested with live and dead roaches and spiders in the kitchen, bedrooms, and living space. The bathroom smelled like sewage and had huge exposed pipes. We had to burn a candle just to tolerate showering. It took us nearly 10 hours, multiple rerouted calls, and constant pushback from VRBO to finally leave and get a refund. They even asked us to upload photos of bugs and record the noise at night â which was unreasonable and insulting. The host was unresponsive and VRBO was no help. This place was cold, dirty, noisy, and absolutely misrepresented. Do not stay here.
