My friends and I had a great time at Miriam’s place! The house is huge with beautiful mountain views, and it has a great pool and jacuzzi. We loved stargazing at night on the lounge chairs in the backyard. There is no air pollution, so the sky was clear, and we even saw some shooting stars. The house is about 25 minutes away from Palm Springs, and it was really easy to get there. Overall, I would absolutely recommend staying here!Two things to note for future guests: 1) there are two ways to get to the house. Both go over dirt roads, but one of the routes takes much longer and has more hill and dips. Take the entrance from Hacienda street. 2) there are two air-conditioning units in the house. The first one cools down the front half of the house, including the living room and the first bedroom. The second air-conditioning unit is near the master bedroom, and it cools down the back half of the house. My friends and I didn’t realize that there were two air-conditioning units, and my friends in the back half of the house were much hotter at night because the air wasn’t on. This is totally our own fault for not checking more thoroughly, but I just wanted to give a heads up to future travelers.
