Luxury villa, independent, very popular with our guests and especially exceptional because overlooking the Leroux Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in Guadeloupe, with direct access to this magnificent beach.

The beach is accessible by a footpath of about 80 meters, from the Villa by a private door.

This Villa is the ideal place for unforgettable holidays with family, couple or friends.
As soon as you arrive, you will be surprised and struck by this incredible view, facing the sea, and you will have only one desire, put on your swimsuit and go straight to the beach to enjoy your first swim in the sea of Caribbean.

At Villa Le Nid, you do not waste time going to the beach, since you are already there.

Recently renovated, it has 3 air-conditioned, refined bedrooms and 1 large studio upstairs, on the terrace.

It can accommodate up to 6 people + 1 child on the ground floor (single bed added on request in room No. 1) or 8 people + 2 children throughout the villa (by opening the studio located upstairs and all 3 bedrooms).
The studio is only open for a minimum reservation of 8 occupants.

The price is variable depending on the number of holidaymakers in the House.
Even if there is no limit to access to the entire villa, some rooms may be closed depending on the number of holidaymakers.

The living room, around 80m2, with its large fully equipped American kitchen (dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, oven, induction hob) will welcome you in a relaxing and enchanting setting with a 180 ° view of the Leroux Beach and on the island of Montserrat, not forgetting its balcony facing the sea, hanging on the cliff where you can enjoy the sunrise and sunset every day swept away by the sound of the waves.

On the side of the living room, a second terrace with its armchairs will invite you to prepare an excellent Barbecue where you can grill delicious fish from the Caribbean Sea.

Above the living room, the solarium with a huge terrace of around 100m2 with its breathtaking view of the beach and the sea but also to enjoy the sunset with a drink in hand.

The Villa also invites you to swim and relax in its swimming pool after fully enjoying the sea.
A second barbecue is near the "swimming pool" area in order to organize "grilled parties" or aperitifs while enjoying the bath, for lunch and dinner.

An indoor car park with 2 spaces is also available (indoor car park and entrance gate under video surveillance).

Villa Le Nid is extremely well situated for enjoying this part of the island. Securely perched on a cliff overlooking Plage Leroux, the view is magnificent. The three of us arrived, and immediately started thinking of ways to come stay again for a longer period with more family and friends. Aude was very gracious in taking care of us and giving us helpful tips. She suffered through our attempts at French and responded beautifully in English. Franck was also very helpful via email when I had general questions before the trip.There is ample space in this large house for socializing together or separately, and the view is absolutely terrific. You can see if there's a cruise ship stopped in the bay outside of Deshaies and avoid the crowds accordingly. All of boats and ships are picturesque. We brought our own binoculars, but there was one provided at the house as well.We happened to go during a somewhat rainy week in January, so we were really happy to have the small patio with the roof adjoining the main living room and kitchen. On sunny days it was also great to go up on the big roof. Alternating rain and sun meant more rainbows.Observing and counting the well camouflaged sleepy iguanas on the branches outside of the windows was also very enjoyable. The sound of the waves was hypnotic and relaxing. Snorkeling on the beach below was also very good.All in all, a splendid house! The luxury is the location and the view.Thank you so much for making this house available.

We certainly had a wonderful time at your “Nest”. We’re glad we saw some of Guadeloupe the first week (Jardin Botanique, Madison du Cacao), since we really just wanted to enjoy the Villa the second week. The sounds of waves from Leroux Beach below are soothing and the door and path to the beach are all gems. The private pool was refreshing and great views are everywhere. Always felt safe and enjoyed the local food - some within walking distance. All photos were accurate and Aude was so welcoming and easy to work with. Many thanks to you and your team! If visitors can’t enjoy this place - they need to get help.

One of a kind beach house

We very much enjoyed our stay at Le Nid. The property itself is great for families or medium sized groups. The living space is large and airy. The kitchen has all the stuff needed to cook a meal. The beds were adequate and AC made the bedrooms comfortable to sleep in. The outdoor spaces is what make this house special. There are so many outside sitting areas: the pool, the balcony off the LR and of course the super large upper terrace overlooking the beach below. Gorgeous through and through. We loved sharing the outdoors with the iguanas and the birds. We loved the sound of the waves down below. There are however some drawbacks to the place. The BIG one is the lack of A/C in the main living spaces. The place was so hot it was unbearable. The fans provided helped a bit but they were so loud and really didn’t provide much comfort. It would be so much better to have a quiet AC unit in the living room. It would completely change the comfort level. Also, the kitchen needs improving: the fridge is not cooling properly, you can tell it’s old and not working right. The stove top has one area that doesn’t work. The dishwasher is not the best either. Overall, the kitchen appliances definitely need to be repaired or replaced.

Adventures in Paradise.

This is an excellent property. Lovely accommodations, a beautiful swimming pool, vistas, a private path to Leroux Beach, fully equipped kitchen, and very quiet. The sound of the ocean waves are soothing. The hostess Aude was exceptionally helpful from answering questions to referring us find William, Pelican Safari Tours, who provided transfers,tours, and friendship. Aude came by quickly when necessary. We would highly recommend Villa Le Nid and hope to return there in the future. Many thanks to Franck and Aude. Laraine and Tom Devins

A wonderful location

This was a large, well equipped villa in a fabulous location. Just steps above the water. The property had all amenities we could have asked for and the owner's representative was very helpful and responsive. There is a short path from the property that leads down to the water. In 12 days on the island we were unable to find a beach that beat the one just steps from our back porch. The location itself was perfect. Private, while at the same time just a short drive from towns to the north or south if we needed to find a restaurant or a shop. This will definitely go down as one of the best properties we have found through VRBO.

Enjoyable stay

Villa is in a good location, very close to Deshaies ( if you are planning to visit “Death in Paradise” filming location). There are several good places to eat nearby, one within walking distance. A bakery and a good takeaway pizza are also within walking distance. The villa is spacious, clean, and right on the beach. Air conditioning in the bedroom. A bottle of wine was a nice touch .

Le Nid = Le Paradis

Nous avions eu le plaisir de passer une semaine à "Le Nid". La résidence dispose de beaucoup de commodité. La vue était très agréable et nous apprécions vraiment l'intimité. Le marché de poisson étant très proche, nous a permis de cuisiner des repas délicieux avec des fruits de mer. Cette résidence est hautement recommandée pour ceux qui veulent vraiment se relaxer.

you will love this place!

The place is situated above the beach, which you can walk to. It sits above a jungle cliff, literally on the edge. The place is spotless when you enter and is modern, airy and spacious, with very comfortable sheets and beds. From the rooftop patio, which is very large, you can see a view of a beautiful cove, even the mountains of Montserrat, in the distance. If you rent the upstairs unit, you get an additional small kitchen and access to this enormous rooftop patio. You can be in this house with several people and still find a quiet place, only for you. The main kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. There are many places nearby to buy food, including fresh fish from local fishermen and pastry shops. It has very high ceilings and powerful air conditioning in all the bedrooms. Many doorways and entrances and spaces to explore. The charcoal bbq is easy to use. The pool is very private, safe and clean with a pump that is very quiet and runs 24/7. Frank is a great host and he's very responsive. Any request will be answered and he will do everything he can to make your stay enjoyable. He’s one of the best vrbo hosts. We love this place. You will too.

Never wanted to leave

From my first contact with the owner, Franck, and from check in to check out, Franck was quick to respond to all my questions. He was there to greet us and there to say "au revoir." The home is exactly as pictured, and even more stunning once you get there...and you may never want to leave! Our ten day stay, was filled with taking the path down to the beach almost every day to snorkel and swim. The main town of Deshaies, a ten minute drive from the house, is charmng. The pool was so refreshing and the rooftop amazing!!! The balcony off the living room is where we spent most of our non-swimming and non-adventuring time, with its view over to Montserrat. Best to get your main groceries at the Super U on your way, just outside Ste Rose, otherwise there is a small store in Deshaies. There is a place to buy fruits and vegetables next to the Super U and many vegetable & fruit stands in most of the towns. Franck makes sure the home is well stocked with the basics...and this included Rhum. This gorgeous home is on our "Top Three List" of places we have stayed in the last thirty years. Merci beaucoup, Franck, for sharing your childhood home. We are so happy to have these memories as part of our 40th annivversary celebration. Merci for your kindness. Cheers!

The perfect beach house

This is the second time for my family in Guadeloupe and the second time we stay at Villa Nid. We love the villa, the placement of the villa, the fantastic view, the beach Leroux and the whole island! The villa is spacious (we are 7 adults), clean and has everything you need, including a small secret path directly form the villa to the beach (you can even walk barefoot) that will take you 1 minute. Franck is a great host who helps us if we need, in advance and during the stay. We have booked this villa now for a third time for next year, and can't wait to be back!

Beautiful seaside home

"The Nest" is the perfect name for this lovely home. The decks sit right at the tree canopy level so watching the birds with the amazing backdrop of the Caribbean is hours of delight. Although right on the road, it is well isolated and private. There is an easy short walk down to the beach which was never crowded, and was well suited for swimming and snorkeling. The house was clean and obviously well cared for; the kitchen has new appliances and is well supplied with dishes, and cooking utensils.

Breathtakingly beautiful and comfortable!

Our family had a wonderful stay in Le Nid recently. The views and the sound of the sea are incredible. We had a few brief rain showers, and the rainbows over the Caribbean are not to be missed! The house is beautifully furnished and equipped, and immaculately clean. We enjoyed the air conditioning in the bedrooms; open windows in the living area made us feel part of the outdoors. The beach was never crowded; clear, warm water, white sand, shade from nearby trees, snorkeling--bliss! Franck was a gracious, friendly host, bringing us a cake and chocolates, as well as supplying wine, rum, and basics for our first breakfast. This was a memorable vacation for our whole family. Perfect!

My husband and I and our son and fiance stayed here for 6 nights. It was our first visit to Guadeloupe. We are not the kind of travelers that say "why spend money on where you stay, you're never there anyway". This villa was EXACTLY what we wanted. The views are unbelievably beautiful. Early mornings were delightful with a cool breeze and little birds sharing our pastries. Sunsets and stargazing were incredible. The pool was clean and refreshing. And, the beach? The private path was easy to navigate for those reasonably fit, we had no issues. As it was off season, there were rarely more than 10 people on the entire beach. We enjoyed snorkeling on both sides of La Plage de Leroux, the water clear and sparkling. We slept well on the comfortable bedding in the air conditioned bedrooms. The kitchen was well equipped. FYI, we shopped for groceries at a Super U in Bouillante and Sainte Rose but on the last day discovered that we could find pretty much everything we needed at the market in DeShaies! After much searching, we also discovered we could have found the memory card we needed in a gift shop in DeShaies as well! Villa de Nid is so convenient to everything you need and many activities on the island! Franck, we can't thank you enough for your gracious care and hospitality and sharing this delightful vacation home with us. It was exactly what we were looking for and we enjoyed every minute of our stay here.

Simply gorgeous!

After reading the prior reviews of this rental I was skeptic about just how glowing those reviews were. Now, having stayed there with my husband for 5 days/nights in May, I can see why. The place is simply gorgeous! The ability to "open up" the entire living area to feel the breeze and hear the water below is mesmerizing. The little terrace quickly became our favorite spot for both coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening. We found where the locals bring fish in from their boats just down the road and were able to grill fish purchased from them for dinner in the outdoor grill; and enjoyed swimming in the clear blue water of the little uncrowded beach just below the house, and also made some day trips to other parts of the island. The pool was refreshing , the beds comfortable, and the kitchen stocked with anything you would need. Frankly my only regret is that we had not brought our children and grandchildren with us to share the experience. Guess we will have to go back!

Amazing stay, amazing hosts!

We were a family of 4 who stayed for 6 nights at Villa de la Nid. It was truly a beautiful place - and we don't say that about everywhere we've stayed! The house is spacious and you can open up the balcony, windows & doors to get a cross breeze of the tropics filling it. The deck above is huge, with incredible views over the ocean for the sunset. And a path from the outdoor shower area straight down to a gorgeous little beach made staying in feel like "going out". The area is how we like it- low key, authentic and beautiful. Not a ton of tourist amenities (especially for Americans used to eating early dinners and having stores open 24/7!), but again, we found that part of its charm. It hasn't been "globalized" into some developers dream of a cookie-cutter beach resort. There's a very nice woman down the beach who has a bakery for pastries and French bread in the morning, and a little restaurant also within 5 min walking distance providing take out food (if you order early enough). Deshaies is less than 10 min drive north and has some very good places to eat, and hiking isn't far south of you at the national park. To top if off, Franck was a terrific host and we enjoyed getting to know him and his wife at the end of our stay over nice drinks at the house. This is a family home that you can tell was built with love and is now shared with those lucky enough book it!

Beautiful home! Stunning view! Great location!

My family of six adults spent five days at "The Nest". From the open floor arrangement to the multiple areas for taking in the spectacular scenery to the air conditioned bed rooms it was perfect. It had all of the modern conveniences and very comfortable furnishings. The house is located above a relatively small and uncrowded beautiful beach which is accessed by a short 5 minute walk down a fairly steep but manageable path.The views of the coastline, the ocean and the surrounding vegetation are spectacular. "The Nest is a short drive from Deshaies which has maintained its Caribbean charm and still has sufficient restaurants and shopping for time not spent at the beach. Frank was an excellent host. He met us on arrival, familiarized us with the house and made sure we were comfortable before leaving. He also provided us with enough food and drink until we could go grocery shopping. He was very pleasant and wanted us to enjoy both his home and our vacation. This was our first visit to the Caribbean and "The Nest" made it a truly memorable trip. The comfort, the views, the close proximity to the beach make it an ideal setting for enjoying a relaxing and fun vacation.

Million dollar view!

We had a great stay at Franck's beautiful house. The view was incredible and the beach below was one of the best on the island. We spend our nights cooking dinner, swimming in the pool and stargazing while enjoying wine. The house is 45-60 minutes from the airport, and about 25-30 minutes from plage malendure where you can book a tour of the Cousteau reserve. We're very happy we booked Franck's property.

Great house, amazing location.

We just returned from a week-long stay and we miss it already. Great house, fantastic location. The views are spectacular. The location in Ferry makes it easy to drive to nearby places and beaches - although the beach right outside is lovely as well. We were 2 couples and 1 child and the house felt spacious. We hope to return again to this lovely house and our wonderful host Franck.

Wonderful vaccation

We had 8 wonderful days in this fantastic villa. Perfectly located with a great seaview and only a short walk to a fantastic beach (probably one of the best at Basse-Terre). The beach has great access to a nice reef just a short swim from the shore. Frank is a fantastic host and will meet you in the villa upon your arrival and is always available for questions. Our kids (2 and 4 years) really enjoyed the nice pool in the afternoons and the villa is perfect for a families. This villa will make your Guadeloupe vacation even better and we can assure you that you will have a fantastic time.
