"Unser Zimmer war sehr groß, aber leider auch sehr abgenutzt, nicht nur die Möbel, sondern auch der Teppichboden und die Tapete. Die Lobby ist sehr schön mit vielen modernen und neuen Sitzgelegenheiten, so dass man sich im Zimmer nur zum Schlafen aufhalten muss. Insgesamt war es ok, aber nicht empfehlenswert."

"Das Hotel ist das erste westliche in Japan eröffnete. Das und die dortige Atmosphäre sind die Übernachtung schon wert. Das Gebäude versprüht nostalgischen Charme und das macht den besonderen Reiz aus. Zimmer sind groß
Und geräumig, allerdings ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen, wobei das logisch ist bei einem 150 Jahre alten Hotel. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und überaus hilfsbereit. "
