The property itself, lobby common spaces, rooms and corridors are modern and nice looking. Common areas cleaning was not good. Corridors, elevators, entrance and parking lot were all in need of attention during a 4 day stay.

The majority of the staff was professional and polite. What I did not like was the room I reserved online was not the room that I received due to rooms not being cleaned and then the room that I did get ended up having rotten trash in the closet but a really nice employee came and cleaned it up at like 10:00 p.m. so that was appreciated. Also was charged an additional fee that I opted out of online but because I waited to pay at the hotel versus online I had to pay. Other than that not a bad stay. Was credited some points for future stay due to mishaps. Even though not a "5-star" review I would recommend this hotel because customer service was good.

This hotel is in a good location and the rooms are spacious. We've stayed at this hotel twice and the only con is that they should consider changing up the breakfast menu as everyone does not consume meat.

I was in town for business and stayed at the Holiday Inn Farmington Hills for 3 nights. My room was very clean, spacious and had a very comfortable bed. The bathroom had excellent lighting for applying makeup (you know what I mean, ladies), and also had a hair dryer. Breakfast was included and was good enough to hold you over until lunchtime. The location is great with some restaurants and grocery store within walking distance. Also nearby were several shopping centers, so there were plenty of restaurants to choose from. Nice place! I'd stay there again. About a 30-35 minute drive from DTW.
