I booked a king size bed suite and when I arrived to check in I was told I was" upgraded" to a new room because they had to move things around. However, I was given a room with a smaller bed and an extra room. The extra room had a couch and a chair and no TV and was absolutely useless. What I had booked and wanted was a king size bed. This was very disappointing. The homes that are made into this hotel are absolutely gorgeous. However, the plumbing is old. The furniture is old. The TV wasn't even a smart TV. It just seems not kept up. The room were given is a first floor that had a shade that It was very difficult to close but extremely important considering we were at eye level with the parking lots. We ran out of toilet paper on the first day and there's no extra in the room. There is No microwave, no little refrigerator . Just no modern comforts at all.

Housekeeping was disappointing, the room was not. The home was beautiful. The location ideal. The staff at the desk were friendly. Housekeeping: vacuuming under all items would eliminate old wrappers and trash laying around, refilling the soaps and Kleenex after every guest a good idea, wiping down all wood surfaces especially the headboard behind the pillows and the bedframe, more than 2 towels in a room meant for 2 adults, and an extra blanket.

Convenient walking distance to the DIA. Desk folks were pleasant. Room has a nice and warm space heater. There were pastries/muffins (so-so) on Sunday morning. We headed down to Eastern Market to Farmer Franks for breakfast.

Beautiful old buildings. Was VERY cold. They did have a space heater in the room. It is going to be renovated this year and it needs it. Miss the previous ownership's awesome breakfast.

The staff was kind and helpful. The room was dreamy and reminded me of my grandmother’s old property on Jefferson. I expected the room to be freezing, but instead it was 82 degrees. There was no closet space due to the tv placed in the cabinet. Don’t expect to eat or keep cold drinks either. It’s focus is tea or coffee in all the pretty nocks and reading rooms. The view of the tv is obscured by the cabinet doors because of how the bed is positioned. I was in the middle of everything I wanted to do (DIA, Autoshow, MLK HS, Hitsville, The Block, Babi, and Le Suprême).
Snowy quiet and quaint entrance that takes you back to a different time.

There was no breakfast. We should have been given a voucher for breakfast at a nearby restaurant because we paid for it with the reservation. The room needed a thorough vacuuming and dusting. Parking nice and convenient.
