Staff was great. I like the quirky nature of the building, being retrofitted to be a hotel from the old Wurlitzer building. Not a cookie cutter boxy hotel. Reasonably priced for the area. Lots of character.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay at Siren. We were able to bring along our 50lb golden retriever pup which was a huge bonus. Room was ready upon checking in, clean and spacious. The lobby has lots of comfy couches and chairs to lounge or meet up with other guests or friends. It does get crowded in the morning checking out. I was not acknowledged as a gold member or given a free beverage, or upgraded.

The area was excellent for a visit to the Tigers ballpark. The lobby was nice and cozy, good coffee bar that was very convenient. The staff were wonderful. The property had a couple issues, we had a very noisy fan we were unable to turn off, but I guess it acted like "white noise" even though we did not need it. Very dark lighting (too dark) in the halls. The bedside tables and lighting should have been better for reading at night. We got a shower knob stuck and had an issue getting it turned off.

Beautiful hotel with lively cafe and bar on the ground floor. Excellent, responsive service (although there are no phones in the room, so you'll have to call the front desk on your cell phone). Located in a perfect part of town to talk to the 3 major sports stadiums and great restaurants/bars.
