The Barn
Boutique accommodation set in the heart of Wiltshire countryside. A unique space for 2 persons ( with or without dogs ) who enjoy nature and wish to relax and bathe in the beautiful English countryside. Enjoy a glass of wine on your private patio whilst listening to bird song, watching deer and hares cavort. Marvel at swallows as they duck and dive. Count the geese as they fly over head or be entranced by the barn owl, red kites or buzzard depending whose turn it is for the air space above. The Barn is a one off newly developed short term accommodation providing our guests with a luxurious bathroom, a super king sized bed (we can split to a twin if booked ahead) in the bedroom, fully equipped mini kitchen and spacious lounge with smart tv and wood burner. Outside your private and well fenced garden - ideal for dogs - affords views over farm land and beyond. Your patio, with fire pit and bbq will entice you to enjoy outdoor time. Guests are welcome to wander around our 17 acres, the energetic among you may investigate the network of footpaths on our doorstep. The Barn is kitted with everything you will need for your short stay. Including fresh milk/tea/coffee/biscuits. Sufficient toilet rolls/kitchen roll/dishwasher/washup stuff so that you don’t need to bring such essentials. Guests may wander our mainly grassland farm on the network of well cut tracks. We do ask that you don’t enter our horses field or the stable area, especially with dogs. We live on site but not over looking the accommodation. Our contact details are provided in the Barn should guests have the need to contact us. Our family consists of Fiona and Steve - your hosts; Ike and Ori our horses; Revel, Trigger and Luna our friendly dogs; and last but not least Elvis the cat. We also run a very small doggy day care, the dogs share our house and yard but not The Barn. While you should not be disturbed if you have a reactive dog they may well notice arrival and departures.
