The room was never cleaned properly. The cups were never washed. The handles flew off the furniture and never fixed although I made a note of it. The bathroom did not flush properly. I made a need too. There was no phone inside the room.

Resort and amenities were great however the service by staff was extremely slow and attention to detail / customer service was lacking compared to restaurants we went to off site. We were here 10 years ago and service was quite different during this stay.

The resort is exceptionally beautiful. The beach is incredible, the village style atmosphere of the buildings and the gardens are all superb. Food is excellent, service was good. It's expensive, but you get a great experience. Barbados in general was really good as well. Safe, fun, beautiful, friendly.

Spacious, well appointed rooms, friendly, accommodating staff, 3 fantastic restaurants, fun entertainment each evening in the town square. Improvements to the exterior and windows going on and understandable but kind of sad as the original plantation shutters and luvered doors are a great feature to enjoy the amazing trade winds. What they lack in 5-star amenities, they make up for in historic charm and character. We enjoyed our stay enough to extend it. Highly recommend

The room was wonderful and the resort was beautiful. The staff was hit or miss. The girls at the jewelry store were really rude. The servers at the high end restaurants were fantastic.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Crane! The room was very clean and more than we hoped for and the grounds were gorgeous. We enjoyed the restaurants very much and didn't leave the resort all week because it was just perfect. Every staff person we came in contact with was so warm and friendly, especially the front desk and at Poesia. The Crane is a very special place and one that we plan to return to.
